Ha! I think it is funny that after all these years people try to turn this animated short into an issue around racial stereotypes. I'm the voice behind the character and I'm African American. The creator, who is also African American envisioned a fun stand out character that reminded us of our "can do" family male figures. When trying to develop the right voice of the character I drew from a bit of my Southern Grandfather, a portion of Red Foxx's distinct tone with a hint of Mr.T. Enjoy the toon!

some people actually act similar to how bixby acts, it just that bixby does it in a comical way and exxagerates the personality so to say. i never would have considered this show stereotypical or racist before coming to youtube and I still don't. Though the stereotypes that bixby portrays is supposed to be for comical relief, not sublimal racist cults :D (i wasn't talking to a specific person before you guys all say "i never said any of this stuff you are acussing me of saying yada yada etc.) :D
