I think this is a great discussion to have, but a bit of background research on the topic and preparation on important questions to discuss (devils advocate included, conducive to good discussion) would have elevated the video tenfold. Perhaps even bringing in someone knowledgeable to help guide the discussion. This was my thought only a few short minutes in. It was more on the under-informed side, and it's important not to perpetuate misinformation. Otherwise, well done for trying to broach a complex subject.

Great episode but there were moments here where Chuckie playing devil's advocate really wasn't productive (which is rare to be fair) Dan is bang on about right and wrong. You take religion, ideology, and all that other shit out of it (which you should) and it is simple. You do something good and you feel good, you do something bad and you feel bad. People who rely on a religious doctrine to give them morals are absolutely terrifying.

Americans weren't there to help the Afghans. They were there under the guise of 'war on Terror' against the Taliban. Same people the Americans helped create way back when to stop the Soviets taking over Afghanistan and having power in the Middle East. These western countries are fucked. For 20 years they've told us the Talibans are terrorists but now they're giving them legitimacy. They're all working together bruv. Kids and women, and people who worked with US and UK armies and companies during the last 20 years, are in danger because these man like Boris and Biden abandoned them. Women are in danger still and so are many people. Tbh someone needs to drag Tony Blair and Goeorge Bush back into the centre of this madness cause they're fully responsible. Wastemen!

One thing people don't understand is that in the Muslim world and specifically, in Afghanistan. Tribal allegiance is more powerful than the national Identity. Each tribe has a deeply rooted culture covered under Islam. 100% of the mistreatment of women comes from the negative patterns of the culture. The Muslim world needs to take a good look in the mirror and reform its cultures so that the West doesn't have any excuse to invade and steal our natural resources.
@sayso49653 жыл бұрын
I hear that but at the end of the day the west would still find a flaw n enter forcefully to steal what they want whilst making themselves look like the heroes… sadly the white man will always be ahead… they made their currencies the strongest in the world cuz they know that’s how the world’s ‘leaders’ operate.
