There are over 140,000 Tamils camping out in India. Fleeing persecution in Sri Lanka and living a life of stateless limbo in India, many risk their lives to reach Australia in horrific conditions. For each boatload of refugees, traffickers can make $200,000. Two years ago Subaghini's husband left on a boat for Australia to try to give their family a better life. She has not heard from him since. "We live in hardship. The children are always asking me to bring their dad home. It's very hard." But staying in India is not an option either. "We don't want to go back, but we can't live here. They are not even treating us like humans, they treat refugees like slaves."

@@hasangaAbhyawardena98921 Do you know the difference between the numbers of people the LTTE killed and the numbers of people the Sri Lankan army killed? What you're comparing is like comparing the war crimes of Nazi Germany to the war crimes of the Western Allies, the Sri Lankan army killed up to 150 000 people during the war while the LTTE killed around 5 000, so yes, the LTTE did kill innocent people, but compare that to the Sri Lankan army and they're saints. A very big percentage of the people who were killed were Tamil and the provinces most damaged by the war were the Tamil provinces, so don't bring the "All Sri Lankans suffered in the war" argument because it makes no sense at all when one side is affected far worse (in this case Tamils).

@@hasangaAbhyawardena98921 LOL, did you not even read your reply because it contradicts itself, the entire first half is dedicated to basically say "The LTTE killed many people too, and many innocent Sinhalese people were killed in the war too not just Tamils, all Sri Lankans were affected by the war." which would be a good point if it were more correct, but then you literally whitewash the Sri Lankan army's crimes and even say they're your gods, this cannot get any funnier, so what this last part shows is that you only said the first part to make you look like a good person and after you were done with that you went to say that everything Tamils say about your army is wrong. Also, don't think that the rest of the world is uneducated most people, especially large, important organizations like the UN don't just "believe" what they're told, they actually do research and investigations, what Tamils say hardly affect their decisions. I honestly don't understand your thought process while making these comments/replies you think that everyone else in this world knows nothing about the war, then when your gouverement doesn't allow the UN to take an investigation you will still blindly worship your army/gouverement without even wondering why your gouverement didn't allow the investigation if they were innocent.
