Tamiya Hornet. Another treasure from Tamiya's golden age and great that we got to experience it again decades later.

I grew up wanting a grasshopper my neighbour had 1 eventually got the hornet loved it took it to the local bmx track in all weathers yea i trashed it the rear wheels ended up spinning in what was left of the tyres I seen a pic of one the other day and that led me here and on eBay lol seen a few new versions of it and a alloy chassis and spoiler crazy the avante was always the dream car i like how you painted it blue mine was half black and half metallic blue lol

I grew up wanting an RC10 and a Tamiya Nissan King Cab… Never got them. Got a Futaba FX10. Spent all my grass cutting money trashing and upgrading it. Now I want another FX10 and I still am on the lookout for an RC10 gold pan and a King Cab.

I use the dirt tuned motor in my grasshopper it's perfect for the grasshopper. I use a GT tuned in my hornet.

Both motors and both cars are pretty similar. So far, happy with my motor set up. It goes as fast as it should. Lol
