A time trial of the Tamiya Wild One! This shake down run shows some issues, but with minor tuning, this kit could top the scoreboard. music by JayZ, song (Publis Service Announcement ) instrumental.

Maaaan!!! Where do I start?!! What an amazing piece of slick editing mate, so well produced! 🙏 Like watching a mini movie. The wild one was looking superb in action around the track doing it's thing..... then I saw our channel logo come up!!!! 😊 I actually spat my cider across the room at this point! 😂 🍻 Cheers for the support fella, much appreciated. 👍 These vintage models just don't get old in my eyes, and the wild one is no exception.... especially with those gold wheels. She posted some pretty good times on the damp track, which looks in superb shape by the way! Awesome content fella, can't wait to see what's next. 😊 👍 👍 👍

@yodadarksideGreenHawksRC thanks so much! I glad you liked my little nod to your channel! If you see a logo on the screen that means I'm watching!

@@Paul__FC Ah what a cool idea dude!! I did notice the usual suspects pop up on the last video (subbed to all of them!)..... but didn't expect to see our logo on this one! 🙏 😊 Glad to hear your watching anyway buddy. 👍 I am truly taken back by the quality of your edits though..... You usually only see production that high on the well established channels with thousands of subs. I'm pretty sure your channel will grow fast with content this refined and entertaining...... Keep up the great work matey. 😊 👍 👍 👍

Man the track and the buggy looked to be in top shape Paul! Cleaning them up is a pain but that damp dirt makes the best grip and slip out there! It ran really well and looked like a blast! Nice up close slow-mo shots as well!

Thank you very much! I just realized when I saw your post . I had your logo in there, and my computer crashed. I had to redo the whole blue screen potion, and it didn't make it in. This is probably a good time to ask. Would you mind your logo appearing from time to time?
@AddamsPlaygroundАй бұрын
@@Paul__FC no worries! Feel free to use any of the logos, I would be honored to see it up there. That is a pretty cool feature of the track! One of these days I will figure out how to edit cool stuff like that into my videos.
@Paul__FCАй бұрын
Editing is a not so fun part of RC videos. I tell myself I'm learning a new skill. To be honest, I'd rather be tuning the cars. The wildone despitely needs an upgraded servo saver and links. Not to mention a high-speed servo. I bet it would have taken first if it had.
@MarkBryanRCАй бұрын
I've said it before and I'll say it again, Paul, the Wild One might not be the fastest or best handling Buggy, but it looks freaking good just doing it's thing! I read you had steering/servo issues? Need to get it sorted, maybe a power upgrade and then a re-run?!?!?! Loved the intro, that head turn was so cool! Your editing is on form, brother! 😎👊🦫👍

do not underestimate the wild one ! funny enough i now got gold wheels on mine . great run . tempted to run mine now 😊👍
@Paul__FCАй бұрын
@rc-dom-uk I'm hunting down a high-speed servo in the $40 range. That's cheap, I know, but it gets run 2 or 3 times a year. Solid servo horn and some real turn buckles and it a whole new beast.
@Paul__FCАй бұрын
@@rc-dom-uk the slow mo shot in the S-turn shows just how slow that servo is.

Amazing work Paul! Love the editing going into this buddy 🙌🏻 I was surprised is wasn’t quicker than the Novafox!! Looked better out there on the track in my opinion dude 😎🔥
@Paul__FCАй бұрын
@theoagrc Thank you! You noticed that, too? I think I'll need to do a shootout someday. The steering servo in the wild one was a real disappointment. It was way too slow and unable to correct fast enough for the next turn. The only issue is that good servos are not cheap.
@ToystheyrenotАй бұрын
@@Paul__FC try SPT 4412LV servos. I’ve used them on most of my cars. Cheap, fast and very reliable. 👌

Yeah, man, great editing, Paul! So you have one of those 360 degree cameras, you can pan and follow the RC car in post processing? That's really neat and handy! Yeah, the old Wild One is no track demon, but it sure looked good around the track, and did a good effort!
@Paul__FCАй бұрын
@madsrcbuggy Yes , I recently picked up a 360 insta X4. I barely know how to use it. Video quality will get much better soon. It awesome just sticking it in the ground and just waving to it, and it turns on by itself. The shot is always in frame. The long edits I'm no fan of but the trade off is well worth it.

DUDE!!!! Who do you pay to edit your videos? Freaking skills man!!!! Great run with the Wild One Buggy.... I need this kit before they are gone, yeah, I have the Blockhead motors kit but I don't wanna trash it... This buggy would be my runner... As for the NovaFox, It's a Fox with upgrades, and the Fox was (I think) Tamiya's 1st 2wd "real" race buggy... The WO is no chump in my eyes.

@Paul__FCАй бұрын
@NoNoRc is just a silver can. I actually want to run this one again with a torque tuned or bz and an upgraded servo. The one I installed was terrible! I don't think I have ever seen one that slow.
@NoNoRcАй бұрын
@@Paul__FCyeah, I did notice the turning radius was a little wide which seemed to affect your apex approach.. none the less still good for what you had. Torque tuned motors are underrated, imo, they’re great for the money. If you’re open to a recommendation check out the Holmes Hobbie retro sport motors. It’s all I run in my kyosho’s and most of my Tamiya’s. Crazy inexpensive and run cooler.
