The Unihertz Tank has always been a favourite of mine, while they are quite inconsistent, the ambitious specs and ridiculous features have always been very exciting to test out. The 8849 Tank 2 with its projector and dual camp lights especially was a very fun phone to use. Unfortunately however, with slow performance and questionable software support, I have never been able to fully recommend either the Unihertz Tank nor the 8849 Tank2 Unhihertz. The 8849 Tank3 Unihertz on the other hand promises to be better with a decent Dimensity 8200 chip and even bigger battery than before! Is finally the Tank phone that I can truely recommend?

One other trade that uses laser range finders pretty much daily is estate agents. I do like the look of the tank 3, and I'm going to get it soon. I have to travel for work, and sometimes charging a phone can be difficult to manage, so long battery life will be good.

I've just received my unihertz 8849 tank_0.1 and it's the 12GB RAM version with android 13 right out the box. there are versions of the tank_0.1 with the unihertz logo replaced with 8849 stamped on the back of device and on the front of the box.

Hi boys, greetings from Germany and thank you for your great videos, the videos that you both make together are just fantastic, you do not need to put anybody out to make your channel better as someone has suggested. The both of you are great for the videos and keep it so! Videos are funny and nice! I am writing this on the 27 December and, I am updating the Camera Software directly from the phone, exactly today, I knew from a guy in Unihertz that the camera update is ready and now, I am installing it with the hope that the pictures and videos get the way it has to be. First of all, GREAT PHONE, I bought it for my dear son and he loves it. Me too. Please, confirm to me if you have noticed these 2 problems that the Tank 3 has. 1. When charging the phone with the 120 Watts charger, the phone gets very hot almost to burn! Not really burning but too hot!!Terrible feel that I have about this!. 2. I also have the feel that the battery drains faster as it should be, I am charging every 2 days and 3 at maximum. PLEASE, let me know. I wish you Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Thanks for the support, and while I don’t have the Tank 3 with me at the moment to try out the new update, I’ll let you know some of my thoughts. 1) the charger- I have to admit that the charger I received didn’t have an Australian adaptor so I didn’t try it out. I mostly used my 130w MacBook charger and I didn’t experience any overheating, so perhaps check some other high powered chargers to see if it is repeated there 2) the battery drain does sound a bit unusual. I recall trying to drain the battery as much as I could and I really struggled to drain it in three days even when I had the torch on all the time. Have a look to see if there are any extraneous apps that are running rogue in the background. Otherwise, I’m sure that Unihertz support would be happy to help! Otherwise I do hope that you and your family had a lovely Christmas and I hope to return to Germany to visit again soon!

Great review. Im planning to get one soon. This is the perfect partner for people like us doing hard labor during rain or in a hot sunny day. With this kind of battery, they could’ve added FLIR and push to talk. Sky is the limit for this phone. And please one thing. I just don’t like your co host ladyboy. The only pro i see about oukitel is lower weight. I went from Oukitel WP7 to Tank3 mostly for the sake of cameras, also 16GB RAM and CPU are way ahead of WP30. Android on WP7 had a load of weird glitches and mediocre photos. I now have TANK 3 and You can even install GCAM here so the photos from main camera are high tier even RAWs are available, no issues with missing notifications or apps getting killed in background. I'd love this phone even more with half the weight but well it's a Tank xD

@@GamerAgentYT the projector was fun, but ultimately a novelty. While it was heavy, it was the thickness and size of the phone that was harder to get used to. While I could just about fit it into my trousers pockets, it would be extremely uncomfortable, so I often just held the phone in my hand or put it in my bag.

You can install GCAM port and photo quality goes over the roof especially in night mode@@DavisFangTech @f50koenigg , sadly GCam can only work with main and selfie camera, wide angle and zoom/IR are restricted to system cam.
