Very very nice video but I really do not believe that 7TP was the best tank of early WW2... Definitely one of the best but when you compare Pz. 38 and 7TP then it really look like Pz. 38 is better armoured and faster vehicle with comparable cannon. No flame-war intended. I am just really interested in some reasonable comparison of these two vehicles.

Of course! This movie is not telling that Poles has have the best tanks, this movie is about that, Poland have achieved something with very limited resources, in very inconvenient situation before WWII, because there was WILL to do something ( vs today situation - 1990 - 2008 - excellent conditions , very limited achievements)

@@MarekKrassus53 But Somua S35 was a medium tank designed for a different role than 7TP which was a light tank. Comprassion between 7TP and Pz.38, PzKpfw II, or T-26 has much more sense because they were tanks of very similar cathegory. And it's worth of mentioning, that with Bofors wz.36 37mm antitank gun as it's main weapon 7TP was able to fight and destroy any tank from the world in 1939.

Then it would no longer be a tankette/tank. It would be just another mobile artillery piece.

Why tho. Just get a jeep and install mortar on it. It's not like tank has to carry it lol.

TheAmazur20 You can't use a jeep in hard terrain, wheeled vehicles are terrible to use in hard terrain, they're mainly meant as cheap, very fast parts for roads, that's why tracks exist

TheAmazur20 it’s about the protection of the mortar crew, that’s why there were mortar ditches/emplacements
