These guys are amazing live and i'm not sure why they don't have a larger following after all these years; musical genius.

@4fit816 They 'were' amazing. He bails out and croons all the screamo parts now. That aggression is no longer there. He also spends half of most songs using the guitar as a prop rather than play it. Have yourself an afternoon picking your favorite Tea Party song. Watch some old footage, then watch a recent performance. Song after song, you'll see what i'm talking about. Seeing them now is like watching an 'OK' Tea Party cover band.

This song is why i bought almost every available cd from The Tea Party. Saw them live in Amsterdam where they almost blew Queensryche of the stage:)

Great stuff. turned on to the TP from a article from Jimmy Page. Said this is where the Zeppelin took off from ... after that had to hear the music. Crazy stuff. too bad they went separate way. Special music....... on a side note Jeff singing on a Zep reunion tour with Page Bonham and jones would have been stunning

@imaginetheswan Jeff Burrows is on my facebook and he mentioned a couple of times about how an "old friend" tried contacting him and everyone pretty much knew he was talking about Jeff Martin. Would be nice if they would discuss getting back together, but Burrows is in a new band now. Don't know what Stuart is up to, but he has appeared in a couple of JB's facebook albums.

It's amazing that he starts with the oud, but the part where they have to change instruments is a bit weak. It would be better if he had an oud sound effect on his guitar. Obviously less impressive, but more "strong and steady", as far as the sound colour and volume are concerned.
@nategwinn14 жыл бұрын
Did you see that it's not fretted and he doesn't miss a single note?
@alteredwholetone14 жыл бұрын
In fact i did. Ouds are always fretless. Yeap, he's correct, but then he has to leave the oud and take the guitar. "That" part is a bit empty.

Don't worry, we Canadians generally agree Nickleback is garbage...I dunno, I guess it's just my having grown up here but there's a lot of horrible Canadian bands too...there's great ones for sure (TTP and Matt Good come to mind), but for every one good one there's three or four that just suck...
