My 4th grade teacher from Baton Rouge is your 6th grade teacher. She has continued to be a part of my life (she's 94 or 95). Rickey you are right about being put in the special Ed class when the other kids went on the field trip. It was the scariest day of my life. Those kids were off the chain, jumping over the chairs and climbing walls, beating up people...I just silently sat like a statue until 3:15.
