I like a producer who commits. As always, your timing to remedy my personal frustration is perfect. BTW, that video technique where you showed only the to plug-ins stacked atop each other (for the delay automation) was great. Very effective.

So many things to learn -Appreciate you, a lot of things I know and think you put tutorials too, for years before there was youtube you had to learn these things intuitively, or if someone showed you, I've been home for five years solely learning and enhancing my skills, thanks

if you hold shift when dragging the automation breakpoints... it moves it by .1 decimal. Hopefully this helps anyone struggling to hit the right number when writing automation.

Hey Zen loved the video, I usually pitch my drums using the Frequency Shifter...I feel like it´s less destructive sound wise. The pitch changes can be smoth or harsh, you can have a bit more control on these changes. Try it out, sure you will like using this tool instead of ableton's warp pitch
@Philbrazil2 жыл бұрын
been using this technique as well and completely agree

Someone mentioned the hold shift for fine adjustment, but you can also right click > edit value on automation points

Love to hear you. Love to hear the music. But it is not possible to hear both at the same time. Your voice and music are in different universes volume sized. I cant watch your videos in the bedroom with the wife sleeping by my side. Impossible. Please fix.
@ZenWorld2 жыл бұрын
I'll fix so your wife doesn't find out about us. I also have to get better at executing my gate in videos. I'll write this down on my list to work in 2020

As much as I wanted to follow you I feel your videos are not beginner friendly for new Ableton users who don't know specific shortcuts or ways of doing things with the software and you just skimming over it makes it harder to figure out. For example the utility automation gain, for me this didn't show up and I did not know where to look at or what I should be doing
@ZenWorld Жыл бұрын
Thanks for the feedback man means a lot. Yes I haven't tailored my videos to be super friendly for beginners. Future I'll try to though as It's been on my mind.
