3:08 PSA : You don't actually need to apply that much toothpaste. Just a pea-sized amount will do. Commercials will always squeeze that amount in the video to make people use up the toothpaste quicker, when in actual fact, a pea-sized amount already contains enough fluoride.

@Why Not? Yea but another reason why we shouldn't be using too much toothpaste is excess fluoride. There is of course the increased risk of ingesting excess fluoride if you put too much. If ingested once and in small amounts, no big deal. But if it's a daily & long term thing, it'll run the risk of developing fluorosis in your teeth and bones.

Actually if you look on the back of the tube, under directions, it says 1 inch strip on your tooth brush (which most brushes are about an inch long), or if you have an oral B then you have to apply toothpaste twice. This is for the proper amount of fluoride that an adult needs so these guys got it right. The “pea sized” amount is for prescription strength toothpaste (which also has directions on the back saying pea sized amount). ~ a dental assistant

A dentist will tell you that it's best to remove them. Personally, if they aren't bothering you, I'd leave them in there. I only had one removed because it cracked and I could no longer keep it.

I'm eventually gonna have either my lower left canine, or my lower left lateral incisor (the tooth the lower left canine is under) extracted, as not only is the canine impacted, but there's simply no room in my mouth for both teeth. Also, I'm probably gonna eventually have to have my lower wisdom teeth extracted, because they're also impacted.

Two of my adult incisors never grew in after I lost the baby teeth at age 12. At 15 A dentist installed/cemented fake crowns into my gum line to help close the gaps. That was amazingly 15yrs ago and the teeth are still going strong with only one needing extra cement about 5yrs all. Otherwise I’m all good.
