Happy to see you're moving over to Bricks, even if not fully, you have it on the radar and focus on this great builder. Since a long time now, this is my favourite builder as it's not limiting you in your creativity. A great tutorial, well explained, and I like that effect. In my opinion, a perfect replacement to any slider, as sliders have drawbacks (page speed, usability).

Thank you! Elementor doesn't have anything similar to Bricks' Interactions feature so all of that should be coded by hand. It's possible, sure it is, but way more complicated.

Sadly, but there's nothing new to Elementor except the user interface that literally hurts. Don't get me wrong, I'm still using it on many websites, and I will use it as long as it is requested by clients but I can't get over so many issues that are kept under the carpet for so long time...

OOh yeah! welcome to the Bicksverse man! Love your style and creativity. I just had to recreate this using methods I have become accustomed to with Bricks. Pure CSS, no JS BEM classes, and putting the swap images on the cards. Happy to share the template with you. If you are interested, just reach out.

One day Elementor developers will "come up" with something similar to Interactions (Bricks builder feature)... until that day, you can only code it out manually which takes more time and requires some JS knowledge.

Hi Oooh Boi, I tried to replicate this tutorial and could not get the image to transform on hover. I tried downloading the project files and still could not get the image to transition even when I downloaded the template file. Is there a default setting in Bricks that I need to change.? (because I cant figure out what is different in my bricks version) Many Thanks any suggestions you can give..

The best thing you could have done is move away from Elementor... smart!

I didn't move away, far from that, but after using Bricks, getting back to Elementor feels strangely unpleasant and heavy.
