Yes, but the TTH themselves thought the production was way too clean, and wimpifying. For tastes of what they more wanted it to sound like, go to the two live in Springfield albums, the five early lo-fi tracks (llke "Hey Tiger") on the Hide Tide CD collection, and the amazing live recording recently discovered of them at Music Machine circa 1984. Also, what they've posted here is a mix of their debut album, and the 1986 E.P. The "Now" Sounds of the Tell-Tale Hearts. That EP, an early effort by genuis Mark Neill, the Hearts had no problem with.

Back in the late '80s, this album got plenty of spins on my radio show "The Underground Sound". WTGP was Thiel College's radio station. Memories of letting this album play while smoking a joint just outside the side door of the station.

The local record store had all kinds of cool garage/psychedelic revival records. I remember this one from the mid 80s. How bout The Things and The Vipers?? I remember their albums, as well.
@brucedunkle9136 Жыл бұрын
@@Charles-tu3oq Yeah! The Vipers’ “Outta The Nest” is a tough album. The Cynics’ “Blue Train Station” got plenty of spins on the show.

Good times ago.

they probably copied the Q and the Outsiders , from 45 r.p.m. discs sold ( by me?) on Ebay early 21th centurry. It was big business then..... freak beat nonsense for 330 dollars or more a disc. Luv from Amsterdam ! ( From Above is from another city The Hague).
