This song came out in the 60’s and was a big hit, and in the 70’s The Dramatics released a similar song “ In The Rain” , also about a man that wants to go out in the rain so people won’t know that he’s crying .. ☔️☔️☔️☔️🌧️🌧️🌧️⛈️⛈️

The older I get the less I cry, I also try to understand why stoicism was something that was enforced when our community had fathers. I believe it gets you ready to deal with a cruel world with unexpected adversities. It prepares you for leadership and being a man that can take action while your children and wife have the privilege of being emotional. However, Masculinity in its traditional form is deemed inappropriate.

Temptations, Earth Wind and Fire, Jackson 5, and Marvin Gaye are my favorites. My mama use to play these records every Saturday morning. I miss her so much. It bring tears to my eyes

They have to quit stopping the sing or video because of copyright terms or they will cut it off it's frustrating but that's what it is
