I first saw a Tenkara rod 15 years ago from my Japanese Father in Law. I had no idea how it was used to fish with. I now fish tenkara style and really enjoy it. Your English is impressive. Keep making videos you are doing such a great job. I lived in Japan for 14 years and never fished there. I regret it now.

4:20 mark is excellent underwater video of a sakasa kebari! Thank you for the video. One of the famous American tenkara anglers says that tenkara is not interesting because the gear is simple, but the complexity of what you can do with simple gear makes it interesting. Tight lines!

I really enjoyed this video. Your English is very good, by the way. I have fly-fished with a rod and reel for many years, but two years ago I took up tenkara fishing in Wales. I love its simplicity. However, I find it difficult because it's necessary to approach very close in order to cast to a trout, and I often scare the fish.

@fishermansspoon6 жыл бұрын
SkayToo Thank you for watching my video. I also use the level line of # 3.5 normally.,and using # 2.5 when the fish is nervous. However, windy day has many troubles when using a light line. Tenkara is easy and simple, but it is very impressive😀😀
