!!!! I'm already gonna love this video.... I've been scratching my head on tents for a long time

Sorry, KZbin felt it necessary to dump the notifications for ya'll. I like the idea of a tent review, there are different types for different terrains, and ya'll have pretty much been there. I like Trents canvas mummy bag best, throw it in the bed of the truck and get some rest. Love what you're doing ❤️, always a pleasure watching ya'll

I have two Kodiak canvas tents, one is a wall tent that is simple to set up, they're not backpacking but for the money you can't beat them for quality,durability and ease of set up.

Trent with the new word...'ventation' I like it and will be listening to see if the sports announcers pick it up this fall! Great job, guys!

A very nice assortment of shelters from xlarge to very tiny personal sleeping bag/tent. I find myself these days looking for something in between that’s manageable by myself with the possibility of a small stove that could fit a second person if needed. I’ll be 55 in a couple months and have had a slew of accidents over the years which has forced me into retirement, so I have plenty of time on my hands and would like to start venturing out somewhere anywhere and be able to set up and pack up just as easily and start enjoying the outdoors again. I really enjoy your guys videos and the awesome footage you get while elk hunting. I’d love to do it one day, but it’s not something I could do alone. Keep up the great work you do and may god bless you all in your adventures. Hope to see you guys in person one day. You all seem to have a lot of fun together!

Nice breakdown of shelters. Living in the Northwest I chase elk and deer every fall. One year several years ago I decided to try a floorless shelter from a traditional tent and love it for my style. Even solo I can pack the stove and everything else with not much trouble - so far I’m not looking back. 👍🏼 Good luck this season and keep up the hard work!

Right on, good video. If I may, a very honorable mention for truck camps and mobility would’ve the Gazelle T4. I’ve used one for camping a few times, going to start my first hunting season later this week with it. I sold my travel trailer in favor of this. Sets up up in about 2 minutes. Comes down just as fast. Tons of room.

Been really liking the floorless options lately. Tent stays a lot cleaner and don't have to worry about taking off your muddy boots while going in and out.
@indeepoutdoors26362 жыл бұрын
Thanks guys, lots of great options. I hunter really needs at least a couple, three different tents. Later season hunts in cold rain or snow I choose a tent with a wood burning stove in it. Warmer to hang out in but mainly have someplace to dry out your boots/gear at nite. Thanks again.

You guys forgot about Cody's rtt set up in his truck, they work so good when road tripping, you can stop at any rest stop or anywhere really and nap. Better than a bivvy on the ground

Excellent review guys! Going with the dragon fly myself. After seeing this it appears I made a good choice. Headed out to CO for my first OTC this year. Solo! You guys have been really instrumental in me attempting this. Thank you for your content and motivation you give. Good luck this year! Looking forward to seeing what you guys put together this year for the BRO family!

Lots of good information guys ! If I was truck camping with a couple guys that first one would definitely be my pick it nice to have that space ! Definitely was great for Bear camp ! I think I’ve got the Kelty late start 2 person it’s kinda like Trent’s where you can pick it up and move it around if need be to find that perfect spot ! Great stuff guys !! Wish you all lots of good luck this year !!

I've got 6 different tents from wall tents to light weight backpacking tents. I just grab the one that is best suited and go. I am fortunate enough to have pretty expensive tents and most of the time I just sleep on a blue tarp. So just do what you do and have fun!

Nice video. I wish I could get the Nemo ‘field/hunting’ tents in Australia. In the end I went with Tarptent. Moment DW waiting for the solid interior and getting a protrail for next year for a super light trip. I wanted a Nemo/first lite spike and kodiak to cover all my needs. But couldn’t get the shipped from any company outside of Australia, or even direct and they were not available to our dealers. Needless to say it was annoying not being able to them. But can’t knock my TarpTent.

I don't know what they think, but I love them. The learning curve is steep, but if you put in the work and learn how to optimize them, I argue you'll never get a better night's sleep in the woods. 👍

I admit I’ve never been elk hunting and don’t know the ends and outs of it, but me and buddy of mine hunt turkeys on public land each year and we carry a hammock and tarp for out setups. We will carry over and under quilts if needed (colder weather) but our set ups are pretty comparable to a tent and sleep pad ect. I LOVE my hammock and prefer sleeping in it over a tent x 100. But to each his own.
