I reckon Rick is considering upgrading Paladin for a few reasons. 1.) the deal with Fission finally came through, giving PDN access to one of the best undeveloped uranium deposits and coupling this with the potential for this to be developed with NXG's Rook 1 also adds value. 2.) PDN's LHM operations have improved QoQ with better recoveries, resolution of water problems, but still some caution regarding stockpile grade variability. My guess is that if there is clarity with grades, or if PDN can continue to be on track to meet FY25 production guidance, this will be the main driver of Rick upgrading PDN from a 4 to a 3. Keen for the next episode and appreciate the interview and insights!

I'm guessing its something to do with acquisition of fission, which they can develop or sell it eventually. Also, probably just its current price. Great episode. A lot of little gems if people can catch it.

Good interview with the GOAT! Rick is full of valuable insights. Thx! Btw, F1 is worldwide. Formula 1 has many more viewers worldwide than the NFL or NBA.

Nexgen, I believe have their name on the Canucks helmets. Also believe that Encore uses the same ISR process? Owned a pile of Fission, my guess is that Paladin just bought their way into the basin earning their way to a 3!

To move Paladin up is due to a number of reasons. PDN now has a North American listing and larger audience. They now will be followed by more invenstment houses and can be purchased by more funds. PDN have fixed and are improving their African mining problems and can demonstrate they they know how to mine and deal with mining issues. With the Takeover of Fission, they will beable to increase production out of Saskatchewan and be a major force in the future.

Daryl, I enjoyed this episode with Rick Rule. Re: NexGen sponsorship in F1 - I too question the wisdom of this decision and I would guess that it is a significant expenditure! However, F1 is a massive sport that reaches a worldwide audience of around 500 million viewers. NexGen is a sponsor of the Aston Martin team; they are owned by Canadian billionaire Lawrence Stroll, so the nationality connection is likely significant. Perhaps NexGen's real advertising target is other F1 sponsors, some of which have exposure to AI and may have future energy requirements that are much larger than present.

Paladin from a 4-3 is most likely from their ability to ramp up the restart at Langer Heinrich and the fact they bought the Tripple R deposit off Fission with hopes of being a multi continent producer

Why does Rick like PDN? Because the next target in PDN's sights is NXG.

Paladins fission acquisition opens a door for a joint venture or partnership with Nexgen.

Why Paladin from a 4 to a 3? I'm guessing the takeover of fission and the current valuation.

Yesterday I spoke to a pal who got into uranium about 4 years ago, with my encouragement. He told me that he'd sold all his U shares. I didn't say anything, because I didn't want to hurt his feelings, but I thought that he'd got out just when things were starting to heat up.

Im tired of these analysts who have been saying this type of stuff about uranium for years. We were supposed to be millionaires by now. I was listening to him saying this stuff in2017, and now it is " in 5 years" this will happen, that will happen......HE WAS SAYING THIS IN 2017!

Stop spewing Russian propaganda RR. NATO didn't move anybody's borders east. The countries that joined NATO did so voluntarily. And they can leave NATO voluntarily if they want to too.

Rick Rule is a self-described libertarian and therefore, likely disagrees with most of what the Rs and Ds advocate. To learn more about the advancement of NATO, please read the book "Provoked' by Scott Horton. This highly researched work requires a serious commitment; you'll learn in great detail from a true expert about how NATO evolved since the end of the Cold War.
@gibbogle15 күн бұрын
@@wcbrennan It's clear that countries bordering Russia need to belong to a defensive alliance, and Putin's attempted territorial expansion is making more countries join NATO. Nobody, not even Putin, believes that anybody is thinking of invading Russia. Libertarians vote R.
@fruityoverlord993710 күн бұрын
James Baker promised Gorbachev no NATO expansion for reunification of Germany and allowing it to join NATO. Since then multiple expansions have occurred. The war in Georgia was partly due to Bush trying to get them into NATO. Russia disbanded the Warsaw Pact and yet the entirely US controlled military alliance just keeps expanding. Add in the fact that the US is the largest warmonger in the world over the past 30 years and I don't blame the Russians at all for not wanting military systems next door when the US (and its NATO puppets) happily bombs places like Libya into a failed state. The second aspect here is that Ukraine has a Bandera neo nazi fetish at the highest level of government and they are hated in the Donbas, which is where all the fighting is occurring. Not to mention that this war started in 2014 when the Democratic government of Ukraine was violent overthrown and Victoria Nuland is on tape picking out the unelected post coup regime. The Donbas, who just had it president deposed, rebelled and long before Russia got involved, the Ukraine shelled and killed 1000s in the Donbas. Then you have the bogus Minsk accords which the EU never intended to fulfil and use the time to arm Ukraine to ultimately crush the Donbas and the complete rejection of any Russian views on the future security of their country with a heavily armed Ukraine next door in NATO. Many experts warned about this and Rick is pretty much correct about the cause of the war. Its just unfortunately that the EU is so blinded by their supposed 'free press' propaganda pushing for more and more war.
