This should been the plot for T3...Show how Skynet base was deep in the mountains and how Dyson had no access to it and bombs went off. Then the movies could been the future war and how the T800 and Reese get set back. Then how the T1000 gets created and sent back along with the reprogramming of T800 and sent him back and final movie being a last attempt by Skynet sending something else back but Connor stopping it and winning the war and rebuilding of mankind.

When it comes to the console Terminator games Terminator 3 The Redemption is often cited as the last best Terminator game, and though I have played it and enjoyed it for it it was to much of an on rails/rail shooter. I preferred Terminator Dawn of Fate over this, because it was solely based on what we saw in Terminator 1 and 2 (so not T-X or what I found frankly convoluted story telling of Terminator 3 in order to make Judgment Day happen again, remember there is no fate but what we make), and because this was an action-adventure game with at least some exploration as well. Would have been awesome if this had been a third person shooter in which the player can control the camera himself/herself, and also been able to move in first person perspective. And perhaps more of the level areas to explore ;) But even without I consider this one of the better Terminator games and I wish it had the sequel that was hinted at at the end. (Skynet reactivating at another locations, the Stone brothers and the machine men) Frankly I don't think we are going to see good Terminator games in the future.

I saw the game at a secondhand shop once in 2015. It looks like a really awesome game. 4:16 Star Trek II reference.

I like how John Connor and Kyle Reese' designs are extremely similar, one looks like a younger/older version of the other. I think this is one of the only adaptations to do something like that, making them physically similar as to show their relation as father and son.

Never heard of The Terminator which was released in 1984, is this a movie prequel to the Terminator 2 which is a movie sequel to the movie Terminator 1 from 1984? Do you think this game called Terminator Dawn of Fate has something to do with those movies from the year 1984 and 1992? This game from 2002? So you think John Connor in this is the same John Connor from those movies? That sounds like a crazy fan theory from this year 2023. A bit dated now, but a really fun game to play back in the day! The story points were excellent and showed where the franchise should have went! The latest Terminator game was crap in comparison to this one. A better story and game play was had in this one!

Lol Terminator Resistance had way better writing and gameplay, even the reviews were better than this sophomoric, somewhat lazy, and tonally off budget release.

The only thing I really didn't like about this game were the uniforms and art-design of the Tech Com Resistance soldiers, they look too Star Trek/Cyber-Tech/High-technical with their futuristic body armor and uniforms, John Connor's uniform looks good, but everyone else looks way too clean and well-equipped, they look like soldiers from an episode of Star Trek. The Resistance should look more dirty, ragtag, and improvised, I noticed in James Cameron's vision the uniforms look to be made up of found military equipment and clothes, they feel like they took whatever they could find under the rubble, in the deserted military bases, bunkers, and even surplus stores/warehouses, in Terminator 1 it felt like a lot of the uniforms were disorganized and whatever soldiers could find, like the Helmet the girl wears that looks to be a helicopter pilot's helmet but repurposed to hold the digital read outs and HUD they use to track and get information on the Terminators. Then in Terminator 2 as John Connor has more influence, and the Resistance has grown in numbers, experience, and equipment, they seem to have a more standardized look with the caps, googles, and battle dress uniform, but they still are dirty and ragtag, with some soldiers carrying their own plasma weapons, while others carry captured Skynet-weapons, and a few use human weaponry like the MAC-10 and the Spas-15 (Not sure if it's supposed to be a Spas-15 or just a futuristic weapon that they're using that happens to look like the Spas-15 .

I still have it on ps 2 and terminator rise of the machines on original Xbox in 2003 and terminator dawn of fate was made in 2002.
