The main issues with “Detours”, IMO, is that it was geared towards a FAR younger audience than the Robot Chicken Star Wars Specials. As for Seth and Matt being involved, I’m sure doing something “directly with” Lucasfilm (as opposed to Lucasfilm simply “allowing” the RC:SWS) held a large sway creatively... as well I’m sure it paid the bills in a BIG way!

The biggest mistake Disney made was cancelling The Clone Wars. Who wanted it gone, exactly? It was a highly watched show, so they clearly lost a profit by doing that imo

No, The Clone Wars wasn't THAT popular during its final days, it got around 2,000,000 views per episode. While that seems like alot LucasArts was pumping a ton of money into the show, each episode costing anywhere from 1-8.5 million dollars. It just wasn't making enough of a profit, plus Disney wouldn't wan't to pay CartoonNetwork for broadcasting rights.

STRFCKR I'll say! I stinking HATE The Force Awakens, and yet everyone else likes to call it the best thing since sliced bread! The script is completely unoriginal, there are too many plot holes to count that went completely unanswered that it's annoying, the effects are watered down, the old characters are now 1-dimensional versions of their former selves, the new characters don't feel like they should be a part of the Star Wars mythos, The First Order are evil just because, and it's directed by J.J. Abrams!
