There were no clips present. They had magazines, not clips. They were also 75 round drums. The only 100 round drum that was present was used for the Bushmaster Dissipator. The rounds they used weren't armor piercing. Armor piercing implies they had rounds that had either heat-treated steel cores or tungsten cores, which they didn't. They used Chinese full metal jacket 7.62x39 rounds with steel cores, but they weren't AP rounds. 7.62x39, even with regular lead cores, have no problem punching through unarmored Ford Crown Victorias.
