eversince g2 did so poorly in japan transformers lost fath so much so that takara was focus on the brave series it was until 7th show when see beast wars success in America but since living robot shows in japan most for kids in 90s and to this day kinda for kids reather the hard core mecha anime old so decide to hier guy who will eventually did japanese cast director of japanese dub of kill la kill to make a into a full-blown comedy / a gag dub which includes alot of 4th wall breaking jokes and addlibbing and japanese jokes and references and speech tecs at end of each character lines so pretty much og sailor moon dub mixed with samurai pizza cats despite this change it did well in japan i can understand why this for most of American Made produce Transformers shows in Japan turn them into a gag dub because probably way more kids

@@bowserbreaker2515 but i am imagine it did pretty well in japan since get all molds form that line as well did dub all 3 seasons but when prime was japan and toyline was it bombed miserably it had the worst Japanese ratings of any Transformer show do the fact that it was kind of dark but not really dark you know I mean and do and most of the Japanese fandom especially the kids really confused because of the tonal shift for this dump like doesn't want to be a lighthearted dub or still wants to be the serious show in America and it did so poorly in Japan both in ratings in toy sales that they only did the first two seasons and they have to heavily added the season 2 finale to be way more hopeful just because Prime did so poorly in Japan and was also the last show that was aired on TV Tokyo for the Transformers franchise untilearth spark was released and in japanese dub/gagged dub they did some changes like make ratchet pretty much act like Dora I'm not joking or made airrachined woman yandere as well include of arms mircons which in Japan the whole appeal of the arms Micron line was customization and that each of the figures didn't even have paint you have to stick it on them and I know the stickers on these releases are complete dog shit as well each of the figures came with their own arms micron which was their weapons in the whole appeal that line was that that if you have them they can combine to different weapons as well as that they have an Energon Spark based on Energon that appear in the show as well as made up ones so takara tomy want beat and get the success of gunpla AKA model kit Gundam except it didn't because Prime did so flipping terribly in Japan that this was the last Transformers show that aired on TV Tokyo before Earth spark was released in Japan and when our RID 2015 came out in Japan it was aired on Animax while kinda of gaged dub but not really way more like yugioh dubs pretty much
