If you are really interested in knowing the reason for the conflict, you need to learn Islam. 🔴🔴 To know the truth about Islam you need to listen Ex-Muslims. You can listen Apostate Prophet, Harris Sultan or Christian ExMuslims like Hatun Tash, or Al-Fadi CIRA International.

Nah... I mean these guys might be honest, they probably are, but there are also honest muslims who actually seek a more conservative life and some of them are even migrating from the West to muslim countries. People should have the opportunity to seek the life and the society they want. It is enforcing a religion (any religion) to other people that is a problem. This is something that was happening by Christians as well, the only real difference is that we in the West made it illegal.

Wasn't Bethlehem (in Palestine-controlled Israel) something like 80% Christians in the 50s and by the turn of the millennium it was more than 80% Muslim? So Palestinians also do 'colonialist settlements' but they're somehow always victims. The Jewish Israelis I've met have not only been kind but also SO SMART! I really don't get why they're so hated, other than hatred from extreme jealousy and envy...

In Israel, about 2% of the population identifies as Christian, with most being Arab Christians. Among Palestinians, Christians make up approximately 1-2% of the population, both in the West Bank and Gaza. Historically, the Christian population among Palestinians was larger, but emigration and other factors have reduced their numbers over time.

Lebanon's religious demographics are diverse, though exact figures are uncertain. Muslims make up about 65-70%, split between Sunnis (~30%), Shias (~30%), with small Alawite and Ismaili groups. Christians account for 30-35%, including Maronites (~20%), Greek Orthodox (~8%), and Greek Catholics (~5%), with smaller denominations like Armenians and Protestants. Druze represent about 5% of the population. Lebanon's political system is based on sectarian power-sharing among these groups.

Studies of the DNA and mitochondrial DNA of Maronite Christians in Lebanon reveal a strong connection to the ancient populations of the Levant, particularly the Canaanites (Phoenicians). Genetic analyses suggest that Maronites share a common ancestry with other Lebanese groups, such as Druze and Sunni Muslims, pointing to a long-standing presence in the region that predates the Arab conquests. Mitochondrial DNA, inherited maternally, also indicates continuity with ancient Near Eastern populations, highlighting a deep-rooted genetic heritage tied to the indigenous peoples of the Eastern Mediterranean. This suggests minimal genetic disruption from foreign invasions or migrations.

I imagine that Lebanon was a country in some sense for 3000 years but French created the modern nation-state of Lebanon and Syria. Nobody questions that legitimacy. British (under the same League of Nations mandate for 30 years) created or established the nation-states Iraq, Saudi Arabia , and Jordan. Nobody questions that legitimacy. Jordan was an amalgamation of a dozen Palestinian family clan leaders. They wanted King Abdullah, that's what the British gave them. British TRIED to create a new 2nd Sunni Muslim nation-state next to a new Jewish nation-state but they FAILED due to outbreaks of organized Arab mob violence at the suggestion of a final peace, even when Britain offered hardly any land for Judean refugees aka Yehuda aka Jews. Six months before the British packed up and sailed back home, the United Nations proposed another peace plan with a different division or partition. Result? VIOLENT Arab Uprising for 5 months followed by a full scale war launched by Nasser pounding his chest about destroying Israel. For decades before that, Jews PAID ARABS HIGH PRICES FOR LAND that was usually located in swamps and deserts. Jews took uninhabitable land and transformed it to useful habitable land. Reportedly, HALF the Arabs wanted peace and prosperity with Jews, but the OTHER HALF called to "murder them all" and he also kill all the "collaborators" that opposed violence and preferred peace.

The US decided not to drop 30 2000 pound bombs on Osama bin laden hideout in pakistan. This was because it would kill his family and the neighbours. CIA calculated the civilian deaths be about 50 to 100. So the US went for a commando mission to kill Bin Laden. Israel, on the other hand, chose the option to drop 85 2000 pound bombs, which resulted in 800 civilians being killed. Does the US and Israel have similar values?

Hezbollah has been accused of assassinating former South Lebanon Army (SLA) members, though it officially denies responsibility and focuses on resisting Israel. The Lebanese government downplays Hezbollah's involvement, opting for reconciliation or legal action against former SLA members. Israel believes Hezbollah targets SLA collaborators in retaliation. International human rights groups have raised concerns about extrajudicial killings but lack clear evidence of Hezbollah’s direct role. The narrative remains politically influenced, with no definitive official account of these assassinations.

Lebanese Christians have varied opinions about Israel, shaped by historical and political factors. Many remember Israel's intervention during the Lebanese Civil War, which fosters mistrust among some. While certain factions, like the Lebanese Forces, may view Israel favorably due to shared interests against Hezbollah, concerns about broader regional implications persist. Additionally, individual perspectives are influenced by personal experiences and family histories, with some seeing Israel as a potential ally for stability, while others recall negative experiences related to Israeli military actions. Overall, their feelings are complex and cannot be easily generalized.

@@lizzie-j5z Some Christians view Hassan Nasrallah positively due to Hezbollah’s alliances with Christian political factions in Lebanon, such as the Free Patriotic Movement. His opposition to extremist groups like ISIS, which threatened Christian communities, also earns him support. Additionally, Nasrallah’s stance against Israeli actions and Hezbollah’s role in defending Lebanese sovereignty resonate with those who see him as a protector. Hezbollah's social programs, benefiting both Christians and Muslims, further contribute to this perception, particularly among those who appreciate his leadership and efforts to support marginalized communities.

11:19 Lebanon wasn't a Christion state. Lebanon was created by France by partitioning Syria into sectarian influenced provinces all occuapied by France. so each provenance had a certain political families ruling with certain sectarian back ground. they even divided the Sunnis into Hanfi, Shafi states where one capital in the south Damascus and another in the north that is Aleppo. a popular revolt against France in those provenances resulted in reunification all of them into modern Syria under french protection in 1936 except for Antakya and Lebanon. Antakya was given to turkey while Lebanon was kept under Christion ruling class ruling 55% Muslim population. problems started long time before 1975 with class and political struggle. WHERE IS YOUR CROSS LADY?

A Christian doesn’t have to wear a cross 😳. The cross worn around someone’s neck may be a decoration rather than a declaration. You need to stop judging by externals (see 1 Samuel 16:7). Am Y’Israel Chai 🇮🇱🇮🇱🇮🇱
