The Testimony of God

In this week's sermon on 1 John 5, minister Aaron Hill addresses misconceptions that both John's audience at the time of his letter and some people today have about Jesus as the Son of God. Jesus is more than a prophet; He is more than a good teacher; He is more than just a divine being created by God. There is no other way to the Father except through His Son Jesus. The Father testifies to the Son. To have the testimony of God is not just an inward belief. We have Jesus Christ dwelling in us through His Spirit. If we don't believe God's testimony about His Son, we are calling God a liar. God gave us eternal life, and this life is only in His Son. Whoever has the Son of God has life; whoever does not have the Son does not have life. We cannot have the Son of God without believing in Him! Believe!
