Stayed at El Cosmico last Nov (Mongolian Yurt). Reminded me of my backpacking youth through out Europe and Asia in the 80s. Great place, and while the "youth hostel" vibe of the place brought back some great memories, looking at my 50s, I am thinking the Paisino Hotel or maybe the Thunderbird on my next Marfa sojourn.

Creative types are leaving the cities. With today's technology it isn't necessary to live in a city. The crowds commutes are too much. The downside is prices go up when a place gets popular.

Just get an air bnb when in town...or stay in your car. This place is expensive to glamp in a tent. Up to you. Plus the OG locals laugh at people who stay here.
