Ahoy hoy folks! Tonight’s video is just a little bit of fun. I know a lot of people really enjoyed the £100 Five Guys video, so I thought I’d do something similar with TGI Friday’s. It quickly turned into a full menu challenge, which is no bad thing…it’s been a little while after all. For all the people who’ve been asking about the studio; relax, it’s still there and I’m sure I’ll be back there soon. It’s just been a lot of fun to get back out on the road after 18 months of sporadic lockdown. Thanks for tuning in again and I’ll catch you on Thursday for the next! Hugs, BMF :)

You initially got lemon with fish in case you swallowed a bone, biting the lemon would introduce the acid that could help break down the fish bone. I think that has gotten forgotten and now added with all sorts of fish food, goes nice anyway. Great job

@@kcmres I can't confirm what they said about the bones, but definitely can that lemon is great on fish. Even cheap frozen fish from the grocery store is better with lemon juice. Sorry, I just love it so much I had to comment about it.

I've thought the same thing, you can set some of the good ones to a 'warming' feature that doesn't keep it slowly cooking over time, just keeps it at the right temperature as you would normally get it fresh from the restaurant. A lot of newer ovens have the same feature too, along with plate warming and specific cooking features!

I EAT SHRIMP TAILS TOO! The shell is mostly made of the protein glucosamine and is a healthy consumable. I prefer fried tails as they crunch apart easier and generally pass on boiled/steamed.

I used to work for Fridays in Oklahoma city, and I LOVED the Jack Daniel's glazed Flat Iron Steak, and JD wings..... OMG that was the best of the best, also we had fried Green Beans, with a Wasabi Ranch that just Nailed everything it was on

TGIs on the weekend as a kid in Reading. Made you feel like a rockstar when the moctails came out and the place was loud as hell. The centre section was awash with cool people drinking long drinks and the music was always pumping. Good times.

Came to prominence in Covent Garden in the UK around 1989/89. There was a place called Calendars in Birmingham same sort of thing (Called American Bistro) and actually openned before TGI's. It was franchised by Whitbread PLC firstly and was much better then than it is now truly. Also the us version was in the movie Coktail with Tom Cruise - the 'bar flairing' of the bartenders was a first in the UK.

I eat the shrimp tail if it's crispy, sometimes it's tough to bite into. It's usually edible and quite nice when fried. Otherwise, it's easy to just discard when it's like boiled, instead.

I went to TGI Friday's earlier today and it was totally great

We went to TGI Fridays in Leicestershire Square just after lockdown ended. They were obviously struggling with staff shortages etc and the food took almost 3/4 of an hour to arrive and we were in a bit of a hurry. The manager was a great guy and he gave us the food for free because we had knocked back so many Long Island iced teas, which I have to say were delicious and potent so…….all good 👍🏻
