The ''exposed stone '' is naf and ugly. Tradutional cottaged would always be lime plastered and white washed. This looks like something out of Disney.

Thankfully there are different variations on a cottage. What a boring world it would be if all cottages had to be traditional. I love lime plastered and white washed cottages. But I see other types that I like too. Variety is the spice of life.
