@@khatack that's one interpretation of pride for sure but I've always just seen it as feeling good about what you've achieved and that's something you have every right to feel. For purposes of the story your interpretation definitely fits our hero.

@@arkham666 Oh pride is much more than a feeling. What you're describing is the simple satisfaction of achievement. Pride is a whole another beast. My point being, pride as I describe it is a very real thing, and that thing is what we generally mean when we talk about pride. It's not an interpretation of an abstract concept, it's an observation of concrete reality that has been given a name. The purpose of language is not to define or interpret reality, the purpose of language is to describe and communicate reality. We fall prey to all sorts of false logic when we forget this and start ascribing causal links and values through words instead of the real things those words represent and describe. This is one of the most dangerous pitfalls for an academic mind.

Yeah it's one of the nice things about smaller games, they just an audience, they don't need all the people to spend all the money to succeed. I got sidetracked playing Sekiro lol but I'm back on that script now.
