Oh wow, what a great surprise! Virtual On has been one of my favorite SEGA franchises dating back to the original arcade game and the Saturn, and Fei-Yen is my main Virtuaroid to pilot too.

I was OBSESSED with Virtual On in my senior year of High School, so much so that I beat the Saturn version on the hardest difficulty as Fei Yen, no small feat! PLEASE bring this series back to the West in some way, I'd LOVE Oratorio Tangram on Switch! I feel this series could still sell outside of Japan with the proper marketing strategy... (actually being sold on a platform with an actual install base in the West would certainly help that, Virtual On as a series was dealt a bad hand debuting on the Saturn, a console that was pretty much dead on arrival in the west.) Please? Also, we still never got Virtual On FORCE over here, please rectify that atrocity, FORCE was one of the best ones!

That 1:15 is definitely reminiscent of Etrian Odyssey (like EO5's Grasp the Future one?). That segment is also a nice contrast to the other parts of this song hahaha
