Black Knight actually has his item underneath his arena too, it's right under the door to Cower in the Tower IIRC. But for whatever reason it doesn't activate unlike the Umbrella and the Gum, and even if you do activate it via hacks I don't think the associated model is there but I'm not 100% sure about that one.

Yeah it's there but they just made it invisible and uncollectable it just wasn't worth mentioning in the video since getting the galoshes without fighting BK isn't even close to being viable.

always awesome to see more videos on heavy iron games, makes me wanna make some of my own btw vms isnt possible in the games past tssm to my knowledge and its from the same thing, no actual method to get it to work but even games with weird stuff regarding vertical height like incredibles dont have it :(

So people always talk about the Gamecube version and the Xbox version. No one ever seems to mention the PS2 version. I still have my PS2 copy from when I was a kid. I still pull it out every few years for Nostalgia's sake. Has anyone done a speedrun on the PS version? If not, why not?

The PS2 version is most of the time brought up because it is regarded as the best way to casually play the game. But in terms of speedrunning the current meta is on the other two consoles. PS2 isn't totally worthless for speedrunning though it can still do most of the stuff the other versions can except Fishy Skip which is sort of the big bummer. Also the game still has drawf data and stuff in the files which is useful for a number of reasons. The thing that holds it back is load times, and since emulators are allowed and dolphin emulator has gamecube loads people gravitate to that more so. But there have been some amazing runners that started on PS2 and got insane times but then moved onto another console later. But trust me, there are tons of PS2 peeps out there 😎
