There are lots of appreciable moments in this. I like how Gunhoo was encouraged to admit failure and strategize for success. Yidam did not quit. And Naeun, although worried at first, was able to put her all into it. 태! 권! Tae! Kwon!

Then they won’t learn how to use their feet correctly in order for it to not hurt. Kids are smarter than we give them credit for, they are constantly learning through experience and guidance from adults.

I don't do any karate or Taekwondo but I do think the kids are way too young to break anything but only end up breaking their own hands or feet!

Those boards are a lot softer than you think. Lots of kids started this young with taekwondo. It’s super common and been done for centuries, so I’m sure they know ways to help the kids do it safely. Plus kids are tough. This is a fun way for them to channel their energy and get some exercises in. On top of teaching them resilience and healthy ways to deal with trial and failure. Breaking boards help them able to see their result so they’ll have more fun as well.
