Assignment 1) The rapture is necessary as it is a divine motivation to remain faithful, make the right choices and priorities. The Lord wants our consciousness to stay alive. In 1 Thessalonians 4:18 Paul wrote that we should comfort one anther with these Words so remain encourage to stay awake. 2) 1 Thessalonians 4:13 states that we are not meant to be ignorant like the people in the world (those who have no hope). In that chapter verses 16-17 talks about the first resurrection of those who are resting in the Lord and then the catching away of those who are alive. 3) Those who are qualified for the rapture are those who are holding on the gift of righteousness seriously, watchful, won't allow sins or weights to take their eyes off the Messiah and those who hands are on the plough and have committed their lives unto Him. In Corinthians 15:58 Paul encourages saints at Corinth to be steadfast and unmoveable and their labour is not in vain.
