H2TechVideos thank you for the info! It should be a default on rugged devices - those rubber USB port covers always fail, ultimately. I will be looking at a Doogee S97 Pro to replace my BV6300 Pro.

If you're looking to get this phone don't!!! These DOOGEE brand phones are terrible I've recently checked this phone out straight up died twice when trying to transfer data to another phone to this one, not only that but the sound quality is the most irritating to the ears and is unclear when maxed out, picture quality is also terrible it's like taking pictures from a Nokia brick phone. This is provably only good for certain things but thats it i would not recommend at all
