worth mentioning the stiffness is intentional. hall effect switches rely on having a consistent distance from the pcb; this is probably the softest u can get without having any issues

I will say I am quite excited for the wooting 80HE for this reason! They have a unique mounting method where the gasket is the silicone pcb foam, so both the plate + PCB will bounce together without changing the distance. Seems quite novel

@@sharkosaurfps very interesting indeed. I've also had my eyes on that wooting80 HE. So far, the boog is the board to beat but i hardly doubt wooting will have a troubling time doing so!

I actually ordered my Boog 75 last week. Im gonna sell my Wootings and keep the Boog. It feels MUCH more premium and performs infinitely better. I love it!!!

Are the switches overly lubricated? There is lubricant on the PCB board. I will have to wipe off the lubricant on the board when I receive it.

They surprisingly aren't overlubed. They feel smooth right out, and doesn't feel mushy at all given the fact. Wiping it off the PCB helps though!

I just wish the bog cases didnt have those obnoxious flairs on the case, would rather just a clean white instead of the white and orange colourway

Meletrix stated in FAQ on a product page that there is no support for LCD or knob module from zoom75

Zoom 75 Doesn't have the custom engraving or brass weight on the bottom. The zoom 75 also doesn't come factory with 110$ keycaps like the Boog does either.

You don’t have to buy a Wooting AND an aluminium case, you can just buy the Wooting module and an aluminium case 😁

If you were to buy an Alumaze60 and a Wooting60HE module, that'll cost you roughly around 260 usd 🤔 I reckon the Boog will ultimately be better in terms of value. Plus, more keys! I think it all just boils down to which one has the better software though.

True but even if you buy a Tofu redux plus shipping that puts you close to 200 not counting switches or keycaps. The Wooting switches are also meh. Boog75 is a better value overall and better quality. As far as performance numbers I would expect Wooting to be better. By how much ? Hard to say so it might not be a big edge.

the boog75 is currently the best 75 key HE keyboard under $400@@strikemods_ because if you were to mod and make a keyboard that was competitive with this it would cost you a fortune. The switches alone would run $60, keycaps another $110, the padding and plates $60, the frame $140, the PCB and module: $120 , etc etc.
