2021 has come around. What will it bring? That’s the biggest question. I decide to take it one day at the time, anyway. A couple of things is for sure; The podcast is still going, and that the new and fifth Mork album “Katedralen” is closing in on you all. The new and first single “Arv” of that album is out Friday 15th of January.
This last weekend I spent in Bergen. Great times. Got inked as well as got to do this podcast, you are about to hear. The guest this week need no introduction. I got to spend alot of time and got to know «The most evil man of Norway», Kristian «Gaahl» Espedal. Gaahls Wyrd, Gorgoroth, Wardruna, Trelldom, God Seed and more. This is probably the most candid and deepest dive into this fascinating man. Enjoy......... Satan.

If it happens absolutely a hundred percent record the wine drinking session between yourself, Gaahl and Nocturno Culto. To be a fly on the wall during that conversation would be fascinating.

Gaahl is unique. He has always said people should use their own brain - instead of being lazy and brought answers. Gaahl is a fantastic musician, and I like how he has always marched against the stream. Did not think I ever would get such a look into Gaahl and some of his world with his honest words. This was one true blast from Norway! Even if my all time favorite black metal song was written by King Ov Hell - the way it was sung by Gaahl? That is why I got parts of Sign of an Open Eye tattooed. Side note: All the lucky metal friends of mine who have met Gaahl have said he is really awesome with fans as other musicians. Thanks for a true blast from Norway - and keep up the Mork work!

Hey Thomas, I'm really enjoying your podcasts and I can honestly say that it is my favorite! As someone who lost a parent last year I completely understand how you feel. It takes a lot of time to be in peace after the passing of someone so close to you. But after a while, when grief subsides , you start to remember all the small moments with them, their jokes, habits and such with great joy. I can't wait for new episodes and thank you from the heart! Be positive and things will be ok! :D :3

Wonderful to be able to hear all of you thanks to Thomas, Nocturno and the always intriguingly mysterious Gaahl. Looking forward to all new music and art from Gaahl. The first Wardruna is my favorite and I thank you and the others for that. My condolences to you Thomas on the passing of your father. All the best.

I haven't gotten a chance to listen to this as I have covid. Now is my 6th day in the hospital and well this is going to cheer up my morbid diseased day. Honestly it seems people in the black metal scene are more caring about not spreading plague than the general population in the U.S.

You should try to do an episode with Ørjan Stedjeberg. I know he's a very private person, so this could be difficult to have him agree, but as a fan of Taake for over 20 years, I'm very curious to hear him talk about the history of taake, the different musicians he worked with in Taake, (Haavard playing on Koldbrann i Jesu marg, I don't think you asked Haavard about this. Also the involvement of Tundra on the cult classic Nattestid, etc) , his connection to the early scene, his experience transitioning to recording all by himself (learning / improving on drums? for example) , different side projects, touring with Gorgoroth, his involvement with Deathcult, and Deathbarrel, future plans and new album (breaking 3 year release cycle due to Corona?) etc etc
