It's really too bad that the soundtrack album, didn't cover the *music used in every scene in the movie!* I really like Michael Kamen's work on this movie score! P.S., Disney has a infuriating practice to censor the soundtracks of their movies. I discovered this when I bought the soundtrack for Captain America: The First Avenger. I bought that album just to listen to, what's come to be called, "The Captain America March". Only to listen to that album from first track to last. Only to find that it was excluded from the album.

Doesn't work for me at all as a stand-alone listening experience. The main theme just sounds too, for lack of a better word, "funny"... I much prefer his more serious work for Prince of Thieves.

What is the timestamp for the main theme?

@@jamesdaniels8007 I guess it starts in a very playful way with a lot of variations at 03:03 and in full "glory" (I would call it silliness though :P) at 10:45 for a quick stretta.

@@Stereozentrum Well, it's fitting for the movie, it's a fun adventure movie. I wouldn't call it silly or funny, at least not so far as the words are commonly understood. I can see where the quick vibrato of the French horns can give that impression but besides that I don't see it as any less serious than POT, so far as both OSTs fit their respective movies, Musketeers being a fun action adventure while Robin Hood is a serious action adventure.

@@jamesdaniels8007 I absolutely agree with you that it fits the movie, but I don't particularly like it either... :D
