Would taking glutathione be the same as taking immoncal? Given immoncal is a precursor of glutathione?

No, it is unstable and doesn’t absorb well. Glutathione can be given intravenously but has a very short half-life (like 15 minutes or so). Best is to take the building-blocks and the rate-limiting step is always cysteine.
