That Bernstein Liszt Faust & Boito disc is awesome. Put it on a good stereo with some extra volume and there's a couple of parts that will raise you off your seat.

Oh man, I wanted to grab that James Last Voodoo Party album for you. It's not worth a fortune but its a real treat and quite rare now. Lots of other good stuff too. Living in the U.K. it's really interesting to see what turns up in your thrift stores. We have charity shops over here but essentially the same thing. There's lots of utter shlock, some of it the same as you'll find over here but you guys have tons of different shlock that we never see. How interesting...

Thanks! If you notice, I almost took that Last Voodoo Party album! Next time, I will grab it (if there is a next time). Appreciate the comments and thanks for letting us in the U.S.A. and other places of the world know about the U.K. shops. More coming soon!

I see your fall weather in Colorado is just as pleasant as ours in West Texas. Is that West Point Music a 78 or a 10" LP? Either way, a gratifying find. OMG, I'd forgotten about Freddy Fender. Good pick on the Ian Hunter. The J. Geils band was the last act booked at the old Fillmore East. You were lucky to get original Beatles albums with covers.

Yes, the weather here in Colorado has been very nice, the aspens are turning yellow, the temperature is just right and it's time for another picking video ... coming soon! Appreciate your noticing the Freddy Fender (South Texan), Ian Hunter, and J. Geils Band!
@TheVinylLoungeMtlАй бұрын
Hey man, how are you!! A few nice finds there, was curious, out of all the ones you pick out, how many do you put back if you do… Do you research them afterwards? 🎶✌🏼
@mountainmanpickerАй бұрын
A very good question and thanks for asking! I'm doing great, hope you are too. As far as the ones I pick out, I almost always take them home with me (without researching them) as long as the price is right and they are in G+ or better condition. Most of the LPs I take home are in VG or VG+ and then I research them after purchasing, listen to them, keep in my personal collection or put on sale in my eBay store. There has been a few times that I just grab what I can, as quick as I can, when there are other pickers standing behind or over me to watch me flip through them. I've learned the hard way not to be intimidated by other vinyl pickers surrounding me. It's best to take my time and examine each LP carefully. Thanks!
