Turan III reserse speech is extremely comedic. I reverse out of the view of an m24 after getting my breech blown out faster than they could catch me.

The arl-44 TD has this very funny feature where it’s front plate is virtually immune to anything at its br, but if you shoot the tracks with aphe it will overpressure the crew because of the side skirts. Please play it it’s such a fun vehicle

its actually pretty funny how the mantlet, which is ideally the best Armored portion of the vehicle, is a weak spot. unlike most tanks theres a huge gap between the breech and outline of the mantlet so more often than not youll one shot the tank through APHE or hitting the ammo

2S1 is a very good artillery for 6.0 I own a hungarian export of this tank, and I can say this is a pretty nice tank, especially the HEAT-FS on this thing. Love your vids as always, Spookston!

@daskollektiv4593 If the HE in WT actually worked like it was supposed to. The HE would indeed be the best round. Because hitting a track or not. That much explosive power would turn a crew to jelly. In War Thunder, a machine gun can eat an entire HE round. But 100mm+ (Cause I forget the exact. Size.) With a HEATFS dart is gonna absolutely destroy what it hits.

​@@aiedenoldstien9751 "With a HEATFS dart is gonna absolutely destroy what it hits." is alot of words just to say you havent tried heat or if you have then you must be lucky and/or oblivious. caliber doesnt affect heat damage at all and neither does explosive mass(in terms of heat damage/spall.), it only affects pen. and even then gaijin artificially nerfs heat alot of the time, from 650mm or 680mm(i dont remember exact numbers) to 440mm and 480mm pen for 125mm and 120mm guns. heat damage is the second most inconsistent damage in the game next to hesh, heat gets the inconsistency of solid shot without the pro of being caliber based, spall can randomly not be generated or be absorbed by fuel tanks or equipment while unlike solid shot it'll still make the same "beam of pen" without any diameter regardless of caliber. and like with hesh, netcode can mean the heat jet will sometimes detonate early and be unable to pen what should have been wet cardboard to it. i find this happens alot with turret desync, edges of mantlets and turret cheeks.

Finland still uses these (and D-30s that use the same ammo), so they could add this to the Swedish tree as well, but at least Italy got it via Hungary. Finland does also have K9s, but I don't think they have laser rangefinders like the VIDAR, so that's probably why they chose it instead.

The one team who has the most players in planes just automatically win. Yeah you might have more ground players who can take objectives, but what is the point when they get just stomped by aircraft. In most battles I'm in, our team never has any planes or the SPAA just get swarmed by planes when spotted. I feel that Spookston.

Which it's sad because the mode is called ground and more people play planes. What makes it even worse is that they're gonna tell you that it is a skill issue when tanks aren't meant to fight aircraft. The other thing that hurts this game on that front is that Gajin decided to literally give every fighter bombs so they could be effectively used in ground.

This thing was so much fun in the Hungarian tree too. Once I got HEATFS, I mained it instead of HE, and it was absolutely obliterating everything I came across. It actually has very good post-pen damage for a HEAT round, and it still overpressures certain vehicles. The proximity fuse shells, I just couldn't get to work. I managed to "hit" two planes, and it just took a tiny chunk off, didn't kill them. The rest, I couldn't judge the distance and drop properly.

Out of all the big HE slingers I like the type 75 the best. gets all the different shell types (HE in two speeds, proxy, smoke), has a pintle 50 cal to clean obstacles, and gets low velocity HE for punting over hills. Day 15 asking for the type 60 SPRG tiny japanese goblin tankette go.

Big recommend on the type 75 sph next time you play a he slinger Choice between fast shells and heavy shells, proxy fuze for aa, roof mounted .50, auto loader, surpisingly survivable with enough crew to act as meat shields for your ammo rack. Also survives .50s when angled properly

Gajin casually making a more op vehicle at a lower BR by giving it a HEATFS at 6.0. Beyond that, we didn't need another artillery weapon to the game. Since Gajin adds them as tank destroyers. Not necessarily their purpose. Not only that. Why do they have proxy round and HEATFS.

The few times I ran into them they always survived getting shot. Very annoying when you can easily destroy tanks but these light armored vehicles always survive :( Half the vehicle just consists of empty space with engine and driver and internal armor plates, so it absorbs damage from APHE while AP in general deals not enough damage to take them out in one shot, unless you hit ammo. Actually it doesn't even have enough armor to trigger APHE on most of it's surfaces, turning APHE into even less damaging AP.

Hey Spookston, fun fact! Did you know that if your enemy is close to a cap point that you can use the range of cap point to you to accurately fire at the tank in question?

M36 is the king of 5.3 and M36B2 having HEAT deletes most of your usual problems when you point at ammo. 90mm M3 feels so good.
