Thanks to Tom and Jonny for making this happen - especially in these trying times. HK is an amazing and welcoming place. I welcome ya’ll to come over - when you can - and experience it for yourselves. Seriously. The mai tai. Out of this world. See you all soon!!!

My wife who is from HK and I are heading back in the fall for a couple weeks. Think I just found my home base for the visit. Really looking forward to coming here and hopefully get the chance to try one of these classes. Thank you for the video

Love how the tradition of secrecy in tiki drinks carries on with the original Mai Tai recipe here. I’ll make sure to stop in for one if I’m ever in HK. Best of luck to the bar!!

I an not a fan of a lot of the modern takes on Tiki Bars, but Wahtiki seemed to do it right and get a nice balance

This is by far the best KZbin show regarding Tiki cocktails. Really impressive stuff!! Could watch it all day long. Is there more content to come? Best regards from Munich, Germany.

Always a pleasure to see the tiki scene in other lands. Is Australia or France up next? The famed tiki bars of Spain would be nice to see--once it's safe to travel without the spectre of COVID, of course.

I'm a new subscriber, just happened onto your channel the other day. Great episode. I used to tend bar, now have a VERY well stocked home bar and offer legit classic tiki cocktails on the menu each month. (Usually have over 30 different rums on hand, well over 200 bottles overall.) Cheers

so weird that all tiki bartenders know how to make a true maitai and its not a secret at all. but outside of that, its a joke

He's referring to the 70's Mai Tai. And with a little research you can find it but Trader Vics 70's recipe had a special mix to it. Still does to this day. The 44 MaiTai is well known. It's the 70's one that has a little secret sauce.
