If you need to use up track, make random sidings that don't really go anywhere and just loop around or curve around to use up track, or just go into corners to fill them in. You can also have a long siding going around the whole layout and ending in a dead end just to use up track.

that pile is Peak Shaky Cam. first time seeing someone use a road with that suspension bridge. Roller Coaster Mountain has a difficult footprint. building big layouts is exhausting
