Oh I’m definitely going to get this deck. It’s a good general deck with a whole world of cultures and it looks like it’s going to be a fun reader. I would just make up stories for anyone who’s willing to listen in my house about their past lives and mine. I’m not an actual psychic so I just make stuff up and have fun with it. The guidebook adds extra profound info too. I would pair it with the Light Seers tarot. AI is a controversial issue and I understand it’s not completely fair, but I just recently bought The Biblical Tarot and the art is entirely AI but it’s stunning. I’m not personally against AI because a person programs it and can edit it, I never used to like computer generated art, that artists develop themselves on the computer but I’m starting to like that now too. The deck is an excellent concept that I definitely want to explore and the art looks nice. Thank you for your videos you do such a dreamy job, it’s a pleasure to watch. Kisses 😘 💋 ❤

Yes, the art for The Time Traveler's Oracle does include the use of AI to achieve the specific look and feel desired by the author. This was confirmed by Hay House, and they plan to include a disclosure about the use of AI in the reprint. They hired an artist who used AI as a tool in some of the images, though the exact percentage isn’t clear to me. After this experience, I discovered a tool that helps detect AI use in art. Great video Elowyn le Fay! Your setup really shines with the candle lighting!🕯 It made the setting feel more intimate. It's a nice looking deck, but I'm not a fan of AI art. I think it's becoming kitsch. On one hand AI appears too detailed, and on the other hand not focused enough with artistic narrative. Decks that don't use AI art should put "100% human made art" on their boxes.

Thank you so much for this video. I'm very disappointed by this artwork and I'm so glad I didn't preorder this deck. It's such a shame because I have several of Denise Linn's previous decks for Hay House and I respect her books too. The potential was there for a thematically fascinating project. Instead, there are strangely lengthened limbs in multiple cards but most offensively for the Masai figure on card 23. There's a bizarre hand and missing body for the flappers on card 12 and no hands at all at the Shaolin Temple for card 15. Not to mention an incongruous polar bear in Iceland! And as for being "At the Feet of Lao Tzu"... His feet are in mid-air. Overall this AI art goes beyond creative license and fails, in my view, to offer opportunities for intuitive interpretation either.

While looking at those cards, I also noticed that the hand in card 33 is a bit strange too.
