Here's some interesting things about the 2016 breach; After the breach happened, rumors appeared on the forums on who did it; many people speculated that one of the users behind the leak was DominusTrex, an infamous botter at the time (he would later gain more popularity in 2019 - 2020). The link to the breach was passed around (it was a massive deal at the time), and included info from users 1 - 31327. A separate document (likely created from the original leak) also surfaced containing info from users 1 - 49842 albeit it being an extremely watered-down version of the original. The alleged full document with 50,000 users seems to be currently lost to time. I've submitted both docs to HIBP and I'm currently awaiting a response. Nice video :)

OH!!!! i have something important to say!!! back in 2018/2019, i was part of the JToH community on roblox, the tower obby game. i'm pretty sure i've seen bg footage of it in this channel! i even got a few towers in game, but regardless; i knew the c00kiepl0x guy sounded familiar... that's because back then, he was a pretty infamous exploiter that (if my memory serves me right) would exploit on the really difficult towers the game had at the time... so, it wouldn't surprise me if the guy behind all the accounts that privated the games you showed in the video, was actually him. small world, isn't it? great video though!! these are always entertaining

Good video, but you have missed just 1 thing at least: the 2019 Roblox incident featuring an exploit in UWP (Microsoft Store) client of the game when replacing data of certain packets upon joining a game would allow you to modify username, account age and even your userid and make the server think it's e.g. the game owner playing (the consequences being you could use admin access in their games if they had any for themselves and even use the F9 codebar)

The biggest EXPLOIT was probably when the tubers93 group compromised meepcity for a day or two, but the biggest HACK was probably the April fools hacking, which was a lot worse.

I remember when Roblox got hacked in April 2012. It was crazy! I also remember that creepy face they released ! @5:43 I actually STILL have some of the hacked hats! And recently for some unknown reason in like 2021 or 2022 Roblox EVEN made one of the hacked items. A crown (which I own), limited and it's currently at 70K+ Robux!

Great video, I joined beforehand but also made an account exactly on April 1st 2012. The website was surprisingly stable, and the only big difference were the alert banners constantly changing every time you refreshed the page. From what I remember the banners were pretty tame in terms of the jokes they made so a lot of people really thought it was an April Fools joke. Unless you used the forums you wouldn't really see any of the more "extreme" stuff which also not that bad. Just a bunch of confusion. I do remember it lasted a while though, enough for me to get the 3 1 robux april fools items in 4-5 accounts and also make a new one where I converted 10 tix to 1 robux and bought the elephant mask (or so I believe). The games were completely playable and everything was for the most part fine. The infamous 2012 video where the players are "stuck" only happens because at this point roblox took control and shutdown the website and at the time the website was down but for some reason the game servers were not. I do remember playing the entire day because I thought I would get Robux or something, must've been a weekend... but yeah a lot of confused people but most people actually liked the the "event" because of the cheap hats and funny jokes. It's actually insane how prepared they were, they made it look like an actual event.
