I discovered The Tiny thanks to the weather of the fourth episode of Welcome to Night Vale. Closer caught my attention with it's hidden meaning and the relaxing voice of the singer.

This song is so powerful. When singing along with this song I find it difficult not too start screaming "I could not stand to loose you" towards the end. The transition from singing into shouting seems natural with how emotional the text is.

so good. I always come back to this song.

I first heard this at fourteen years old, and I appreciated the artistry, but could not relate to the essence of the song. Now, at twenty-one, I can finally say I understand.

Because the musical scene in America (and most countries) is aimed at finding commercial artists for easy listening. Something that the mainstream crowd will snap up. They have no time for artists with a unique sound because they believe unique will not sell like commercial. It's quite sad really.

Wow, the cello sounds like it's weeping with the singer. Why is it that the best bands come outside of America?

I don't see the problem. With sources such as KZbin, we can hunt and find many great artists. If the majority are too lazy to do that why feel bad for them? People think only in genre's anymore though but still that's their fault. Just be happy you can easily find the good stuff.

America does have great bands but often they are buried by all the crap that the bulk of our population likes to listen to. Its very difficult to promote a band like this here because its not what they have been taught to like by the radio. That will change soon enough though thanks to things like Pandora, KZbin and Netflix. Pandora seems to play much less unsigned and indie bands now though.

@abo133780 Ahahah, even I think you exaggerating on that post alone. Out of all the seasons, I can only think of one or two winners who's still relevant to the mainstream. Mind you, I don't even watch the piece of crap show.
