The Todzhinians. Nomads Of The 21st Century // Indigenous Peoples Of Russia

The Todzhinians are a Turkic subgroup of the Tuvans living in Todzhinsky District of Tuva Republic. The Tozhu Tuvans are reindeer herders. The language of Tozhu Tuvan people is a subdialect of Eastern (or Northeastern) dialect of Tuvan language.

The velvet that sheds off their deers antlers is quite valuable, someone should inform them, find buyer's and help create a local market. They could earn a good income, become even more self-sufficient and send all their children to school.
