Absolutely wonderful job! Playing with a legend, and becoming a legend at the same time. To all the future banjo players, this is who you want to learn from. He is the best that there is. PERIOD!

Oh, that was absolutely BRILLIANT... I've said it before, and I'll say it again, there was never a truer and more faithful friend to Glen than you Carl. Not many friends like that. xxx

Not only playing with one of the best there ever was, but playing at his level. Very few could ever say that.

I love the smile on Glenn's face because he knows of the Mach 3 banjo playing coming up😊. Love this!!

Amazing virtuosity by both. Carl is still playing and helping others make their marks on bluegrass music. Hall of Fame for sure.

1973 was the year I got my first guitar. As I watch this video, a lot of old memories come to my mind. Good times with friends, with music, the first steps of our band, the first tentative gigs. Unfortunately I never learned to play guitar as masterly as Carl and Glenn. Nevertheless the guitar is my constant companion and music is an essential part of my life. I wish I had had the opportunity to experience stars like Carl and Glenn in concerts when I was young. So I am all the more grateful that you let us see such videos. Many warm greetings from Germany 🙏🤗❤

Burkhard Hiemisch Burkhard..that is such a great statement and memory... If you ever come across the pond, and are ever in Nashville, you need to come down for a Monday night..it won’t be the Glen/Carl concert...but, it IS good!!!

Folks forget that Campbell was a picker before he was a singer and a star, famously a member of the famed "Wrecking Crew" that recorded about 2/3ds of everything you heard in the 50s and 60s. Carl is a banjo hero of mine!

That is exactly correct, Jim! ♥️♥️

Yes, just listen to the Beach Boys, Jan and Dean, the Rip Chords. Glen and the Crew taught them all. Carl can light up a guitar or a banjo. Great talent. Something not allowed in the studios of Trashville these days.
