My oldest daughter is 28 and it reminds me of her Dad so much! We split and he got married and is very successful but his wife is very ill in a wheelchair and he runs his own business and comes home to take care of her! I'm so happy that he found love and success, it's hard enough to find just one! I would be lying if I said it doesn't hurt all these years later! He was an addict and poor when they got together and still loved him and helped him through it all! She is very good to my daughter and granddaughters and they love her very much,so even though it hurts I'm blessed that he married such a wonderful strong wife!!!

The fact that you miss yours after 30 years makes me even sadder that what i know to be true will be true. I will never get over her or stop loving her. Damn give me the 90s back, when we would listen to music without scrolling our phones at the same time! We would hear every note, every word so deeply, and we would literally connect to the song and feel its message. Kids these days just don't have that connection to music like we did. They probably want to know how many plays a song has, or shazams, or if someone has made a tic-tok of it. Somewhere along the line we lost our way. 😢

[singing:] I pretend that I'm glad you went away These four walls closing more every day And I'm dying inside And nobody knows it but me Like a clown I put on a show The pain is real even if nobody knows And I'm crying inside And nobody knows it but me Why didn't I say the things I needed to say How could I let my angel get away Now my world is just a-tumblin' down I can say it so clearly but you're nowhere around The nights are so lonely the days are so sad and I just keep thinking about the love that we had And I'm missing you And nobody knows it but me I carry smile when I'm broken in two And I'm nobody without someone like you I'm trembling inside And nobody knows it but me (yeah) Lie awake, it's a quarter past three I'm screaming at night if I thought you'd hear me Yeah, my heart is calling you And nobody knows it but me (well, well) How blue can I get? You could ask my heart But like a jigsaw puzzle it's been torn all apart Billion words couldn't say just how I feel A million years from now you know I'll be loving you still The nights are so lonely the days are so sad and I just keep thinking about the love that we had And I'm missing you And nobody knows it but me Oooo oohhhhh yeah Tomorrow morning, I'm a hit a dusty road Gonna find you, where ever, ever you might go And I'm gonna unload my heart and hope you come back to me

I wish people still made music like this pure and from the heart. I am metal head I play on heavy metal bands but I'm also a musician so I know when credit is do I actually love stuff like this. Everything is so different today. Heart, soul and creativity have left us there is a few out there in all styles keeping it alive but not enough.

Nobody Knows was Written By Joe Rich and Don Dubos'e in Sept 1993. It was later produced and performed By Tony Rich in 1995 on Laface records and became a world wide pop hit in 1996. Later that year Country Singer Kevin Sharp went #1 for 5 weeks on the country charts.
