The Maggie will forever be my favourite gun in this game. The first one I found was a lvl 20 on my very first playthrough and it carried me to the end and even made easy work of a lvl 45 Tyreen. Maggie + Hellwalker are my all time favs

The Butcher will always be my favorite gun in Borderlands 3. Having always played Moze makes me biased of course, but it carried my in my first ever playthrough, and everytime I use it now, I still smile from just spamming nearly endless shells at everyone

I've only just started playing the base game I got through one of PlayStation Plus's Tiers a few days ago, so I don't have the DLC. This list helps me out more than you know, so first off thank you for making this list. I've just finished fighting the second vault boss, and have already picked up more than a fair few legendaries. My favorite pistol is a tie between the Maggie and The Companion. I WAS going to put Conference Call as my favorite shotgun after getting it to drop, but it looks like I'll be selling it so I can farm out the Butcher and the Hellwalker. Other than that, I'll be keeping this list 'liked' and 'favorited' so I can always come back to it for weapon recommendations.

Rowan's call is one of the most overlooked legendary in the game. I've used it with an elemental Amara build and its just too good to be true even at mayhem 10. My ultimate fav weapon in the game :)

The Hail does much more damage on Flak than the Crit. It has much higher Crit damage (haha).

On FL4K, the Monarch is just too sweet, and right now I'm playing Amara, and The Crit is my go-to workhorse. I'm keeping the Amara build base game only, so this video was nice. I noticed no Maliwan Takedown dedicated drops on the list, so that's one less group of weapons to worry about. Just solo'd that the first time tonight, and as usual with new areas, new weapons can be a bit overwhelming and time-consuming to judge if they earn a spot in the backpack.

I had a feeling the butcher was up there. When i first used it i was like wtf is this gun. Almost never reloads and just shreds. On my new character i used it from lvl 7 to 25 I couldn’t find anything that came close

I love the Trevanator. My next favs have to be the Moxxi's (Crit and Hail, both are my goto's for the OP), then the Compressing Firestorm, Butcher and Dasterdly Maggie. The Terminator and Hornet are my backups depending on the Character.

DNA is probably my favourite base game weapon. never do a build without having one in my inventory.

@@DatGuyRomz lob didnt even get a nerf. Gearbox just switched out the burst fire with semi auto. And yet almost everyone ditched it. Tsunami drops from vermilingua btw. You gotta complete the homestead missions first.

For everyone information, the borderlands 3 ultimate collection is only 25 dollars on the 2k store online for ps5 and I'd assume xbox one x and such. The delivery took like 5 days if that so not bad and was free.

If you want to you can make it that when using flak not only do you never need to reload crits spawn extra bullets to hit other enemys but never lose ammo too

I find it really difficult to kill things, particularly anointed enemies, with the Monarch even on a Fade Away Flak with the Bipod. I have a decently strong non-element Monarch with a good anointment but it doesn't work for me, maybe I'm not doing it right. I've been using a Radiation Rowan's Call over the Monarch and it feels better, probably because of the bullet bouncing with the ammo regen. I might try using a Cryo Monarach to see how that feels, I need a good Cryo weapon.

I'm a sucker for Lucian's Call. You get it early and it's easy to farm and upgrade. Numbers are so so but it looks cool, shoots well and just kinda grows on you. I have a ton of them in the bank for leveling lol.

Nice. I got the Monarch on my first playthrough. I didn't really know anything about it, but when I gave it a shot...it has stayed in my 4 equip slots the entire time. I usually prefer to snipe enemies, but when I was running that playthrough with Amara and used the Ties That Bind action skill boost, it just annihilated everything on the screen. I think my current favorite weapons that I've acquired/used are the Hellwalker, Maggie, Storm sniper, and the Skullmasher. The damage output is nice and they are all fun to play with. I see some people hating on the Storm, likely because it's not as OP as it was in BL2...but it still evaporates Shields and works well with Amara.

Base game weapon... Hard choice. Hellwalker is always fun to use, but I've never gone to farm it. It used to be the crit, but I haven't used it in quite a bit. Needle gun is definitely up there. I still have yet to get a incendiary version. I think right now, it's the needle gun

The issue with the butcher is that if you have a fire rate piece on it, you are capable of firing so fast that your bullet reload isn’t fast enough to keep up with your fire rate

Drop rates havent changed for cartels. Just some unlucky rng on your part ): Ive definitely felt like that before. Took me like, 25 - 30 runs on Killavolt to get a Monarch. Sometimes it just be like that.

FL4K: Cosmic Stalker (mobbing). Bounty Hunter (bossing). Red Fang (enemies ignore you) Zane: Executor, Antifreeze, Infiltrator Amara: Spiritual Driver, Phasezerker Moze: Blast Master, Mind Sweeper

And Rocketeer for Moze too. With Autobear, you can summon Iron Bear, immediately exit it, by the time it runs out your cooldown will be ready to summon another one again. You can give it Nukes or Cap Arms and every enemy will be dead before they can properly spawn. Plus it rolls Skag Den, Torgue Cross Promotion and Cloud of Lead, all three are great skills.

Hey K6, it would be much better if the shown footage would include only base game stuff. No dlc skills like the shoulder Canon, no stuff like old God, pearl aso. It just would be better to see what you can do with base game stuff. Else if I use the shoulder Canon and a pearl I can for sure use a flipper instead of a crit.

@@Ki11ersix They have no idea how limited you were in Borderlands 2. You had to make a specific build of stuff for every Invincible and that was it. There was no freedom to use 35 weapons on anybody. You needed the exact gun at the exact time in BL2. lol

Don't use the Redundant prefix on the Butcher. The increased ammo usage severely hurts the gun's ability to maintain firing. In practice, it feels less like the gun is refilling itself, and more like it sometimes doesn't use ammo with that prefix. Other than that, when using a prefix that doesn't use extra ammo to fire, the Butcher is often more reliable than most assault rifles.
