This is the little rant I had but I figured it would be a good idea to drop it in here too: I had recorded this video Christmas Eve (December 24th) and got a little busy with the holidays (which I expected) and didn't get to really start making major progress on this video until 2024. By that time, chapter 225 leaks had already been out and the full scans of the chapter were available. There wasn't too much new information in that chapter that would've made me want to rewrite / re-record the video, so I just kept hammering away. Eventually, I took so long with the video that Chapter 246 released, and I knew I was screwed and outdated because I could already tell the chapter was going to have the updated biddings in it (for reference, I had a 10 hour editing session where I was grabbing manga panels and actually editing the video, and that only got me from Reo to the start of Barou 😭). To be fair, I really don't think the new auctions would've made me change my list too much since I was expecting Barou to score at least two goals again (maybe I would've moved Bachira below Barou since they both kind of got boned on the new bids and Bachira has scored less than half the amount of goals Barou has so far, but I'm biased and like Bachira better soooo... :P ), but that's really the only change I could think of. In the future I plan on doing smaller scale videos / videos that aren't so editing intensive (or at the very least filmed more than a week before I can reasonably get work done on it) so look forward to more consistent bite-sized content. I just wanted to write this to get out my frustration and potentially earn some brownie points lol. A lot of work was put into this video so any likes, comments, or even a subscription would be greatly appreciated. Great vid. And finally someone that actually pays attention to the story (talking about Nagi's impossible goal and Isagi's capabilities). I think I agree with everyone's placements, but I would also put Yukimiya on honorable mention list. Pressence on u20 and NEL with quite a bit of growth and humility considering he is fine with taking pulled back position while still aiming to be a strike.

Very true, I think Yukimiya is at worst Relative Top 15 and at Best is definite Top 15. He has a ceiling that is pretty high but his floor isn’t the greatest; the range in which he ranks isn’t very wide imo. I definitely didn’t consider him as much as I should have because of recency bias because we didn’t see him a whole lot in the Ubers match but he’s another solid player to consider 💙

There was actually a section of my video where I mentioned that if you put Bachira or Rin in Barou's position on the Ubers they would probably do better, but I cut it out for the exact reason you mentioned: You're comparing a hypothetical player to a non-hypothetical player which is an unfair advantage. As of the most recent chapters, Barou > Bachira.

in my opinion i would have barou be put higher than bachira, yes his dribbling is good but barou's predator eyes is an impressive feat along its self as it completely counters meta vision wihich is regarded 1 of the most op feats to have in blue lock right now, his physique is also alot more bulkier meaning his range and shot power will increase and prob even more over time, he scored in the U-20 game while being held back by 3 of the defenders in U-20 Japan and hasn't disappointed beig in contact with the goal, also in my opinion i feel like both bachira and barou are being spoon fed goals but with barous pred eyes i feel like he contributed to a better build of a player than bachira does

I mention in the pinned comment, description, and beginning of the video that the newest chapter that was out was 244 and chapters 245 and 246 heavily "buff" (for lack of a better term) Barou and Shidou. I've talked about this same thing with other commenters but to keep a long story short; I 100% agree with you. With the information in the newest chapters, I think Bachira is at 5, Shidou is at 4, and Barou is at 3. Hope this clarifies my opinion and thank you for the comment, you make some great points yourself!

To be fair I make a lot of points as to why I think Rin is better when discussing why Isagi is number two. Not to mention that Rin's character is literally meant to be Isagi's rival / goalpost, so at the time this was written it wouldn't make any sense for Isagi to be better than Rin. Not only is it part of the two's character dynamic but Rin also has the feats to back it up as well.

Yeah I recorded the audio for this before Chapter 245 and 246 and have talked about in the comments how I’d change Bachira to 5, Shidou to 4, and Barou to 3. Kunigami hasn’t done a lot but considering Nagi and Reo have been going through it recently and we didn’t get to see a whole lot of Aiku made me want to put Kunigami above them. I don't think he'll want to as badly as some people speculate but I'm sure he'll want to perform better than him. It's either that or he'll reawaken his ego chasing after Shidou and seek Isagi's help so he can sort of "return to his normal self", although I don't think we've seen enough of him as this "new Kunigami" for that second option to be as emotionally impactful as it should be.

Aomori’s Messi (AKA Nishioka) suffered an injury during the World 5 match in the second selection and ends up going to the Manshine City team in the Neo Egoist League. While we don’t see him play he does get a small bid which means he’s definitely played in a match before

Yeah I've been getting a lot of comments about Barou. I mention in the beginning of the video how I recorded this before Chapters 245 and 246 and completely agree that Barou should be at 3, Shidou should be at 4, and Bachira should be at 5. I think Niko is definitely up for debate for Top 15 player, but I personally learn more on the side that he should be rather than shouldn't. I think Hiori displayed Top 15 potential in the Ubers match but I don't want to be too quick to bump him up the rankings after one match (I know he played for a bit in the U-20 match but still, not as many feats as the people above him imo). From what I remember Reo’s version of meta vision is incomplete while Rin’s is most likely just as good as Isagi’s and I’d be confident to say that it’s most likely better than his too. Rin’s also way more dangerous infront of the goal than Reo and most other Blue Lockers for that matter (him replicating Sae’s shot with his weak foot and nearly scoring on Fukaku in the U-20, being one of only two players to score a hatrick in the NEL, and most recently his crazy outside the box goal against Barcha in chapter 244). Reo is confirmed to be something like 99 overall in most of not all stats but has only scored like 1 goal throughout the entire series (that being in the U-20 tryout matches), so I feel like he’s either not using his full potential or just straight up doesn’t have what it takes. I think it’s important to remember that even though I said way more negative things than positive things about Barou I still ranked him 4th overall. I’ve talked about this in other comment replies but as of rn with the new information in Chapters 245 and 246 I’d change my ranking to Bachira at 5, Shidou at 4, and Barou at 3. Hope this clarifies things mate 🙏🏻

The recording of this video is a bit outdated (I tease at this in the beginning of the video and talk more about it in the description and pinned comment) but at the current time I’d bump Bachira down to 5, move Shidou up to 4 and Barou up to 3. I am of the belief that Nagi is better than Reo. Even if Nagi is falling off harder than him rn I don’t think that necessarily means he’s a worse overall player. Plus I’m sure that by the end of the NEL Nagi will take back his place as a undebatable Top 10 Blue Locker.
