It´s not on this list but I´d like to mention Ryuga vs Kenta Round 2 I think it was the first time Ryuga felt genuinely worried about his rival, so much that he was forced to use his special move on Survival Mode, thus causing his bolt to get damaged. That really was the moment in which Ryuga started to respect Kenta, plus it´s amazing to watch how far little dude has come since his first rounds against Ryuga in which he couldn´t stand a single chance, to now giving him a legitimate run for his money.

My honorable mention is Chris vs Masamune Masamune fighting to prove his worth, trying to claim his spot as a Legendary Blader, but it just wasn't meant to be as Chris, the loner no one expected, earns their spot through sheer determination and a refusal to be defeated. The awakening and destructive power Orion unleashed was *chef's kiss* It lacks the narrative set up/payoff that other fights have, but it still is iconic to me and I adore it

Masamume was a big yikes loser. I actually didn't mind it when I first watched but after reading so many Yuki hate comments, I rewatched the show and masamune was a delusional dipshit. I would have added Reiji vs Kenta (great display of development for Kenta and Yuu and showing just how much of a demon Reiji was), Ryuga vs Jack (Jack being a very fun villain and one of Ryuga’s best W’s), Doji vs Ryu (a clash between Darkness vs Fire was epic), Jack vs Klaus (Great introduction to the Starbreaker team) and finally Damian vs Julian, one of the best villain introductions in the series and the OST went insanely hard!

Excellent list. Probably the best one I've seen so far. The only 2 battles I wouldn't put in the top ten would be Rago vs legendary bladers and tsubasa vs Argo. Instead I'd put julian vs Damian, mostly about the character side of things. It's literally terrifying seeing who we thought was the main antagonist of metal masters getting completely destroyed. Also ginka and masamune vs kyoya and nile would be my other pick. Probably one of the best metal masters moments

The only change I would make is Masamune vs king in destroyer dome replacing the deshian vs Julian fight, it showed how similar king and Masamune were. It showed King’s backstory which is really amazing, being banned from battling because he was too strong than getting called to a bey with the same exact story. The part in the fight when they find out that Variearis was spinning to the left. The connection between the pegasus beys and Destroyer and Variearis, King’s hair changing to white and the shock that he’s the legendary blader that they’ve been looking for. The rolling of the dome and then still running and battling at full power. Might be a hot take but this battle is top 10 to me

One of my favourites is Tsabasa v Ryuga. It looks good, there's some actual strategy involved and because Tsubasa is an underdog it makes it so much cooler when he stops the dark move. It's so hard to watch him get destroyed despite that. Really ups the anti for the final battle

A superb list with some fantastic battles. In particular, I am thrilled to see Dashan vs. Julien get the credit it deserves. It really is impressive how effectively they use those two as foils for each, pointing out that Dashan might have become as Julien has if Chaoxin hadn't knocked some sense into him after his loss to Gingka, while also setting the stage for Julien getting that same reality check from Sophie and Wales during the battle. The only battles I'd personally add to the list were Masamune vs. Nile and/or Masamune vs. Klaus, the former setting the stage perfectly for Gingka vs. Kyoya and the Wild Fang battle as a whole while also SLAMMING Masamune with some great character development while the latter is just a really solid back and forth clash between two bladers that respected each other and were evenly matched (with a rare case of heroic willpower giving the win to the battle's antagonist).

Would be even one of my favorite characters after kyoya and ryuga, if he had more screentime. but also a shame how he got done by jack in the next round

Storm Pegasus vs Poison serpeant would definetly be in my top 5, it was the moment that hooked me into the show seeing Kenta get absolutely anniahlated and once his bey stopped spinning Serpant kept destroying his bey piece by piece, until Ginkga stepped in. I will say my all time favorite "fight" was Rayuga vs Jack, seeing Rayuga absolutely dominate Jack and showing the power of spin stealing was insane.

Idk if they should be in a top 10, but Chiyun from the Wang-hu-Zong battles are cold asf 🗿 The fact he fights with all the determination possible for his friend is just so cool, and when he goes crazy against Klaus from Excalibur, with all his backstory going through, this is just heartbreaking... and that's way much sad when you realise that if he managed to beat Klaus, Dashan was in fact stronger than Julian. About the fight between kyojo and gingi in metal masters remember that pegasus is a legendary bey that was sealed. It was also stated that galaxy pegasus is way stronger as a bey than storm but kyoyo caught up with that just by training. Imo in metal masters kyoya was the stronger bleyder and the only reason it was a tie was cuz pagasus was kinda broken

Only the 2nd half of the fight of king vs Ryuga was good when king goes omni super saiyan, and Ryuga vs tsubasa was a good fight overall, and masamune vs chris was only good in the end when masamune finally started to get some momentum going, but it was cut short by chris awakening his power as a legendary blader I wish the fight woulda lasted a lil longer after he awakened.

You know you're strong when it takes a god to defeat you, the legend Ryuga. and also, I like how much of a gigachad Kyoya was in the battlebladers. Bro was fighting the forbidden bey possesing so much amount of stolen power with a store bought bey and was still too strong for Ryuga to defeat alone that Ldrago had to take over the battle. Not only that, but it was a clash of raw strength because there was no hikaru and tsubasa to help him in the battle like what happened with gingka in the final round. they also gave a throwback to this battle in the shogun steel series during the match between Shinobu and Kira in the neo battlebladers. these 2 matches share a good amount similarities too.

Awesome list, great choices. Among my top choices would be Kenta vs Reiji in Metal Fusion. It's not that important in terms of the plot outside of Kenta being knocked out and having Gingka face off against Reiji in the semi finals but this fight is the bomb from an emotional stand point. Up until now, Reiji has been on a nonstop killing spree, he annihilated Hyoma and even Yuu who up until that point was shown to be almost unbeatable got decked by him. In comes small Kenta who we've been following and rooting for as long as Gingka. He pulls out all the stops, actually gets Reiji sweating a bit until Reiji starts destroying Sagittario and then, when almost all hope seems lost, Yuu comes in with the huge save and Kenta goes on the offensive once again. He loses the fight in the end and Sagittario gets absolutely blown up but in the end, he's got the support of the whole stadium. Seeing everyone cheer for this dude who has fought with all he had was inspiring as a kid and even all these years later.
