Project mordekaiser in south america and spanish had a special voiceline (different in both countries because of Voice actor), that is bassically ''Gestion de escudo'', would translate into ''Shield managment'', referencing a mordekaiser main youtuber who used to play with old mordekaiser a lot, and always when he got a thick shield to outplay someone he would say the phrase, kind of wholesome from riot and the youtuber definitively liked it

Imagine a Battle Academia Nautilus the Janitor skin where he carries a giant push broom. The floating thingies on his shield would be "No running" floor signs and when Naut slows you with his E he'd say "No running in the halls! because I have to clean!". His R would be a drain plunger that does a suction cup sound effect when it knocks you into the air or something along those lines. You can't have an academia and have no one to clean up the students' mess after all.

I personally really liked the Nightbringer Kayn skin, simply because of all the glow, color and shine to it. The skin has an awesome recall even before the transform and after it, awesome design and everything. The scheme of "changing red and blue" was done greatly. I personally like the normal version more than the prestige, since it fits better.

Proyect Mordecaiser got a reference to a Spanish KZbinr that mains Mordecaiser and created a meme when in a guide from before the rework he started saying "Gestión de Escudo" and they added that as a voice line in Spanish ( He is called Manute if someone wants to check him out )

It is VERY good yes, Mainly i just didn't want to double dip on skin thematic for this one: i.e. no more than one space groove, shan hai scrolls etc. Cause besides Space Groove Gwen and Rumble the entirety of both of those skin lines is 10/10 in my eyes

Hi, full-time Jhin one trick and Asian, part-time twitter asian culture helper here. The reason why a lot of players were miffed about the Shan Hai scrolls Jhin boiled down to a few things 1) the skin looked very much underdeveloped for Jhin skin. This could be attributed to how good each one of Jhin's skins are, but compared to the other skins SHJ just looked like almost just a chroma, rather than a full 1350 RP skin to many players. This was the biggest complaint 2) For skinline named after the Shan Hai Jing, it does not reference ANY creature or any connection to the said text. Shan Hai Jing is a compendium of all the creatures of the mountains of China, and is one of the more culturally significant text in East Asian culture. However, we do not see any kind of reference to them even though the skinline is SPECIFICALLY named after it. 3) Skinline's design is uninspired. This one is particularly a big miff from me, because this skin just... Does not incorporate any cultural artstyle of East Asian culture. The mask is a big offender to this because it neither references any of the existing looks of a demon/creature/mask in general. It is far, FAAAR too angular, incorporates big, jagged teeth which only because relevant in the modern age post-industrial revolution, and no matter how you look at this skin, it looks like a white interpretation of what an East Asian Humanoid Demon would "look like", rather than something that feasibly could be part of the culture. It looks very, VERY out of place In short, the skin felt underdeveloped, under-researched, and overall appropriated the older history of East Asia rather than really promoting it.

My personal fave for 2021 was ngl too narrowed compared to 2019 or something but honestly, it is Cafe Cutie Vlad and Bard. I like the uncle vibes of Vlad which was always missed because he's just portrayed like a typical angry vampire. And Bard...goddamn he thicc. I know you'll root to Beemaw and it's fine, he's 200x cuter than in Arcanist. (Dissonance of Pentakill Viego would be a runner up for me, he could've been so much more but Riot decided not to do it. I really feel that it is a cheaper Legendary skin that makes it a bit overhyped)

I'm a Jhin main and the reason why we say Shan Hai Scrolls Jhin is bad is because literally every other skin he has is better than it (except the DWG one).
